Electric vehicles are in line with people’s expectations of green lifestyle,and they are the development trend of transportation in the future.However,due to the imperfection of supporting facilities and short endurance,its development has been seriously restricted.Body modeling is one of the most significant signs of the automobile.To speed up the development of the surface modeling level of the electric vehicle body,on the one hand,it can reduce the wind resistance and improve the energy utilization rate so as to improve the endurance mileage of the electric vehicle;on the other hand,it can improve the body modeling design level of our country,and provide a good market environment and technical support for the realization of the sustainable development goal of the electric vehicle Automobile modeling has entered the era of 3D geometric modeling.However,compared with foreign countries,the application of modern technology in the body surface modeling design is not mature enough.Due to the increasingly powerful functions of 3D modeling software such as CATIA,the quality requirements of body surface digital simulation are higher and higher.In the process of electric vehicle development,it is necessary to strengthen the research on the modeling method and fairing of body surface.First of all,from the macro point of view,the evolution process of automobile body modeling is studied and the advantages and disadvantages of each body modeling are analyzed.On this basis,the development of electric vehicle modeling design is studied,the characteristics of electric vehicle modeling are analyzed,and the differences between electric vehicle modeling and traditional vehicles in front face,layout and other aspects are highlighted,and the influencing factors of electric vehicle body modeling design are summarized.Secondly,this paper studies the curve and surface theory of the leading body surface design which supports the computer-aided modeling,and systematically expounds the digital modeling process of the body based on sketch tracking.According to the requirements of class a surface and the mechanism of body surface modeling,the method of using CATIA software to build surface is studied.Based on CATIA V5 software,the 3D modeling practice of a brand electric vehicle body is carried out.Thirdly,this paper studies the continuity of the surface,summarizes the evaluation methods of the smoothness of the body surface,and uses CATIA software to test the surface quality and optimize the smoothness of the body digital model of the electric vehicle.Finally,the theoretical basis of CFD and the steps of numerical simulation are introduced.On this basis,the numerical simulation of the outflow field of the digital model of electric vehicle established in this paper is carried out by using FLUENT software,the simulation results are analyzed,and the aerodynamic optimization design of the local surface of the front face of the vehicle body is carried out.Finally,the body rendering is done.Through the application practice of the above-mentioned body surface modeling design method,the digital model of the electric vehicle body with the required smoothness is constructed,which proves the effectiveness of the surface modeling method.In the later stage,the aerodynamic performance is further combined to optimize the body surface modeling design,which lays a certain foundation for the independent development and innovative design of the electric vehicle body. |
