Study On The Current Situation And Protection And Restoration Of Plant Landscaping In Suzhou Heritage Garden

Chinese traditional garden planting design are generally considered as a model of elegance and beauty.In fact,after long-term development and changes,plant landscaping in many traditional gardens have encountered many problems.This paper takes the historical changes of Suzhou heritage garden plant landscaping as a research clue,combines the current status of Suzhou heritage garden plants landscaping,finds out and sorts out the existing problems,and proposes corresponding protection and optimization strategies.This article mainly uses the method of combining historical documents and old photos to sort out the changes of nine heritage garden plant landscaping,and it was divided into multiple stages based on the garden owner or dynasty to know the vicissitudes of Suzhou heritage garden plant landscaping.At the same time,the article combines field survey methods to conduct statistical analysis of the existing plants in nine gardens,and compared with the plant landscaping in various periods in history.according to the types of plants,habitats,paintings,moods,planting locations,sight lines,and the relationships about plant with other gardening elements to sort out the existing problems of plant landscaping.In addition,in the research process,the article interprets and analyzes the domestic and foreign garden protection charters and the protection and restoration strategies of domestic and foreign historical garden plant landscaping,guided by the principle of plant landscaping,propose strategies for the protection and optimization of landscape plants with "international standards" and "Suzhou characteristics".
