A Study On Leisure Satisfaction Of The Elderly In Kaifeng Ring City Wall Park

With the development of economy and society,the increasing income of residents and the improvement of holiday system,leisure has become an indispensable part of people’s life.For urban residents,urban parks are one of the main places for people to carry out daily leisure activities.As the ancient capital of the eight dynasties and the famous historical and cultural city,Kaifeng’s old urban area retains an ancient wall of 14.4 kilometers long.In order to meet the increasing leisure needs of Kaifeng city residents and expand the urban leisure space,Kaifeng municipal government decided to open up the ancient city walls as a zonal city park and build a ring wall leisure belt with local characteristics.Since its construction in 2005,the leisure belt around the city wall of Kaifeng has become the largest city park in Kaifeng,with its belt distribution,different size and different functions.It provides a good leisure space for residents.It has become a daily "punch" activity for many people,especially the elderly.China has entered the aging era,the physical and mental health of the elderly has become the focus of social attention.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the leisure satisfaction of the elderly in Kaifeng City Wall Park to improve the construction level of Kaifeng City Wall Park and improve the physical and mental health of the elderly.This study takes the perspective of the elderly as the starting point,analyzes the leisure satisfaction of the elderly ring wall park through questionnaires and interviews,finds out the main problems existing in the construction and management of Kaifeng ring wall park at present,and puts forward corresponding solutions.In order to improve the construction and management level of Kaifeng City Wall Park and improve the leisure satisfaction of the elderly in Kaifeng City.Through the statistical analysis of questionnaire,it is found that the overall average score of leisure environment satisfaction of the elderly in Kaifeng ring wall park is 3.26,which is in the middle and lower level,and the overall average score of individual leisure satisfaction is 3.71,and the satisfaction is good,which is in the middle and upper level.Combined with factor analysis and IPA analysis,it is found that the level of infrastructure dimension needs to be improved in the leisure environment of the elderly in the ring wall park;the two dimensions of "relaxation" and "health" are better in individual leisure satisfaction,and should be maintained;the dimensions of "psychology" are outstanding and should be improved by necessary measures;and the dimensions of "aesthetic "," social" and "education" are still available,andshould be properly valued and gradually improved.The information obtained from the comprehensive questionnaire survey found that there are four deficiencies in the leisure of the elderly in the Kaifeng ring wall park: first,the infrastructure needs to be improved;second,the ecological environment of the park needs to be improved,and the management and maintenance of the park is not in place.Third,the park function partition is simple,lacks the culture;fourth,lacks the attention and the guidance to the elderly mental health.In view of these problems,combined with the actual situation in Kaifeng,the following suggestions are put forward: first,improve the park infrastructure and beautify the park environment;second,refine the park leisure function and improve the park management and service level;third,excavate relevant cultural elements to enhance the park cultural taste;fourth,enrich park leisure activities to enhance the park leisure effect;fifthly,strengthen park leisure education and guidance to promote the physical and mental health of the elderly.
