Research On The Optimization Design Of Modern Funeral Space

Funeral space is an essential basic service space in a city.When the major of environmental art design is flourishing in China,the research on modern funeral space is neglected,mainly because of people's taboo on death and the sensitivity of funeral topic.With the traditional aging and increasing degree of mortality,the exurbs funeral home is gradually surrounded by the city,and the early funeral home cannot meet the increasing cremation volume and the development needs of the current era.Secondly,the newly built funeral space pays too much attention to creating a magnificent and atmospheric space environment,but ignores the needs of users in the space.In addition,the civil affairs bureau also began to actively promote the cause of funeral reform,no doubt for the development of modern funeral space into the force.Therefore,it is necessary for us to deeply discuss the design of funeral space.Taking modern funeral space as the research object,this paper firstly analyzes the origin,development and evolution,functional areas and influencing factors of modern funeral space.Secondly,representative funeral Spaces of different levels are selected for field research,and comparative analysis is conducted from five perspectives of case overview,overall layout,functional space,traffic flow and landscape elements to comprehensively understand the current situation of funeral Spaces.Then,through questionnaire survey,we can understand the public's opinions and Suggestions on the development of funeral space,and further clarify the needs of users.In addition,the results obtained from both of them are summarized comprehensively to conclude the universal problems in funeral space,and from the space layout,space quality,space scale,space function four parts are discussed,finally,the combination of theory and research,put forward the optimization design strategy of funeral space.In order to change people's fear and avoidance of funeral space,it can not only fully reflect the dignity of the deceased,but also bring spiritual comfort and enlightenment to the living.On the whole,the paper obtains the optimal design strategy through the progressivethinking of theoretical analysis,field investigation,questionnaire survey,induction and summary,and applies the strategy to the later program design for further verification.Trying to not concern burial space,from the Angle of design,put forward specific optimization design method,make the funeral now space from a single funeral service requirements,to meet the humanistic care,social education,spiritual,high-level requirements changes,the development of the time in order to provide reference for the modern funeral space optimization design research in the future.
