With the proposal of "industry 4.0" in Germany,"industrial Internet" in the United States and "made in China 2025" strategy,global industrial manufacturing has entered a new stage.Because the concept of lean management to create maximum value with minimum input can help enterprises improve efficiency and enhance market competitiveness,it is being accepted and applied by more and more manufacturing enterprises.Meantime the theory itself is becoming more and more popular and accepted.In the strategy of Made in China 2025,advanced rail transit equipment manufacturing has been listed as one of the ten key areas for development,As the representative enterprise of global rail transit equipment manufacturing,C company is also applying lean concepts to promote the improvement of production and management level.Therefore,optimizing and improving the existing production and operation mode is an urgent step for company C.First of all,this paper is focused on metronomic production mode for high speed train brake pad.On the basis of relevant theories of lean management,this paper analyzes and studies the existing metronomic production mode,analyzes and summarizes typical practices such as metronomic construction,anomaly resolution mechanism and application of VSM value stream,and extracts the shortcomings of metronomic production mode.To carry out the insufficient of diagnostic analysis,integrated use of lean management and operational management knowledge of theory combining with working practice,the corresponding Suggestions to optimize every class of problems,such as establish lean training class,continuous improvement,supplier JIT supply,balanced production and other specific measures and solutions,provides ideas for C company to optimize and improve the metronomic production mode of high speed train brake pad.
