Assessment On Opening The Closed Campus

Taking the closed campus as the research object,to develop an evaluation system that can be applied to the suitability of opening the closed campus by combining quantitative and qualitative methods,in order to find the way to measure the suitability of opening up the campus space,and make the spatial open plan.By studying relevant theories,we know that the formation of closed space has a long history,the traditional history influences the space form,its evolution continues today,it has a negative impact on traffic,resource utilization and urban culture.Through the analysis of the cases on opening campus,to summarize the types of open campus,comparing the cities where the cases are located,we could find out that open campus could exist not only in areas with low population density,it could also exist in areas with high population density.Investigating the urban fabric,discovering the obvious difference between the campus and the urban fabric by figure ground,and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of open campus and closed campus,to focus the conflict on traffic,safety,interference and resource utilization.In the part of principal study method,according to the theory of AHP(analytic hierarchy process),the above 4 aspects of traffic,safety,interference and resource utilization are divided into detailed indicators,and making a hierarchical index system,to study the suitability evaluation method of opening a closed campus.Taking the Tiancizhuang campus of Soochow university as an application case,to evaluate the suitability of closed campus based on analytic hierarchy process,developing a strategy based on evaluation results,the models of horizon and axis were used to testify the effect of the open campus.The main conclusions are as follows.First of all,the opening of closed campus can bring positive significance to the city.In addition,the doubts about the opening of closed campus should be discussed and understood more deeply.Finally,the quantitative suitability evaluation based on AHP can provide scientific guidance and basis for the opening of closed campus.
