With the continuous improvement of the network environment, the development of China’s mobile payment is rapid and it is popularized.By March 2020,the number of online payment users in China had reached 768 million, with 99.6 percent of them using mobile payment services. The popularity of mobile payment makes ordinary people have more payment options in public travel. The implementation of mobile payment is convenient, but the influence of its addition on the choice of payment method and its advantages and disadvantages with traditional payment are not clear. This paper analyzes the use of different payment in urban public transport. This paper first collects data through questionnaire survey. Then, based on the binary Logistic regression model, the factors that affect the residents who will use mobile payment to choose mobile payment travel include:security, convenience, age, price, habituation and travel purpose. The final prediction accuracy rate of whether travelers choose mobile payment is over 85%.After that, based on multiple Logistic regression models,it is found that travelers who choose only traditional payment, only mobile payment and both payment methods have obvious differences in age, travel purpose and factors considered. The final prediction accuracy rate for the traveler’s choice of payment method is over 62%.Secondly,through the investigation of public transport in Hangzhou,it is found that the payment time of different payment methods and different payment behaviors is significantly different. When passengers are ready in advance, the average payment time of credit card, cloud flash payment and Alipay is 1.25s,1.40s and 1.64s.The average time for unprepared passengers is 6.74s,8.54s and 10.94s.Then correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis show that different payment methods and different payment behaviors have a greater impact on bus stop time. Then the data of Hangzhou,Shaoxing and Zhoushan are compared and analyzed. The data show that the bus travelers at this stage choose more credit card payment, accounting for more than 60%,and mobile payment only accounts for about 30%of the total. And Hangzhou has a significantly higher proportion of mobile payments than Shaoxing and Zhoushan. Finally, based on different payment methods, the multi-class customer queue formed by a bus stop in Hangzhou is investigated and analyzed. The arrival distribution of passengers is Poisson distribution. After that, the average waiting time, bus stop time and per capita stay time were calculated. In the calculation, passengers are classified according to different payment methods, and the service time distribution of all kinds of passengers is assumed to follow deterministic distribution.According to the comparison results of various indicators, the queuing composed of passengers who are ready to pay in advance is much shorter than the queuing composed of the overall passengers(including prepared and unprepared)in terms of bus stop time and per capita stay time.
