With the development of economy, the increase of urban population and the limitation of land resources promote the development of tall building. In recent years, the seismic performance of some large chassis complex structures is very important to their safety. Therefore,in this paper, the seismic performance of double towers with large chassis will be further studied in order to provide reference for such engineering design, the specific work is as follows:(1)The response spectrum method of mode decomposition is used to analyze the stress and deformation indexes of the structure under frequent earthquakes. The results showed that the structure had a uniform floor mass distribution and low torsional effects under frequent earthquakes. In addition, the structure is in elastic state without damage and had enough rigidity to meet the requirements of bearing capacity and stability.(2)The static elastoplastic analysis method is used to analyze the performance state of the structure and its components under the action of rare earthquakes. The results showed that the entire structure did not collapse, but only some of the components were damaged. The sequence and position of the structural plastic hinges were in line with the expected settings. The shear wall was damaged to some extent, and there was no penetrating damage. Therefore, the anti collapse ability is still surplus.(3)Under the rare earthquake action, the dynamic elastoplastic analysis method is adopted for the structure.Based on the analysis of the state and basic response of structure and component function,it is found that the bridge and frame beam were surrendered successively. From the calculation and analysis of the energy input and energy dissipation distribution of the structure,it is shown that the adjustment of the sensitivity of the primary and secondary structure can increase the sensitivity of the secondary structure and the stability of the energy dissipation mechanism.(4)After comprehensive comparison,we concluded that the displacement curves of the structure were all smooth curves, which correspond to the abrupt positions of the stiffness of the structure and the abrupt positions of the inter-layer displacement Angle curves. In the dynamic elastic analysis, the displacement angle between the middle layers was relatively gentle and two sides are hinged, while in the static analysis, the displacement angle was abrupt and one side was hinged. Therefore, when a static elastoplastic analysis method is used to analyze a complex structure, the elastoplastic layer displacement angle of the structure is multiplied by a certain amplification factor.(5)The research results were further summarized. It is hoped to provide some reference for the technicians of seismic design and elastoplastic analysis of large chassis tower structure...
