In recent years,the value and potential of BIM(Building Information Modeling)technology and VR(Virtual Reality)technology have been continuously tapped throughout building's entire life cycle.For example: BIM4 D technology is used for four-dimensional progress control,BIM5 D technology for cost control,and VR technology for building visual design.With the advent of 5G and big data era,“BIM +” technology and “BIM + VR” technology have been applied to the design phase,which has promoted the sharing and visual expression of BIM model data information during the entire life cycle of building.However,by browsing the latest website and literatures,it is founded that in practical projects,it is still impossible to interactively share the BIM model data information with the actual environment of the project site.Besides,the main application of “BIM + VR” technology is still in assisting analysis and decision-making,construction simulation and effect display.In addition,there will be problems such as lack of data information when BIM and VR are combined.“BIM + VR” technology still cannot seamlessly integrate virtual information into real scenarios,allowing all parties involved to make full use of BIM model information for real-time interaction.Based on this situation,this article introduces AR technology,proposes the application system and application framework based on the “BIM + AR” technology for the entire life cycle of the construction,and hopes to theoretically propose a novel method for the application of “BIM + AR” technology in construction field,so as to solve some of the disadvantages of current “BIM + VR” technology in the construction field.AR technology accurately and real-time superimposes virtual model information in a real environment and performs real-time interaction,and AR technology and BIM technology have convenient and fast data sharing therebetween.So,“BIM + AR” technology can better combine the advantages of the two to seamlessly connect to the real virtual environment and realize the visual expression of construction details.The content to be studied in this article is divided into five parts,specifically:(1)By analyzing the background and significance of the topic selection,the research status of BIM technology,VR technology,and AR technology at home and abroad is briefly introduced,and the research method and article structure are determined.(2)By reading literatures and browsing professional websites,the definitions and connotations,the principles of technology implementation,the characteristics,development bottlenecks,and application fields of BIM technology,VR technology,and AR technology are introduced.(3)Analysis of the current application conclusions of “BIM + VR” technology in the entire life cycle of the building,and a summary analysis of the advantages and problems in the application process.(4)Through the application principle of "BIM + Ar" technology in building life cycle,the application model and application process of "BIM + Ar" technology in building life cycle are constructed.From a macro point of view,in order to solve the current "BIM + VR" technology in the application of the whole life cycle of buildings.(5)Finally,summarization of the full text and prospect of further research and development.
