Under the background of massive construction of urban rail transit,traffic congestion is becoming increasingly obvious.Nowadays,there are a few studies on the three-phase traffic flow in the construction area of the urban rail transit engineering,besides the traffic impact is different in different regions due to the surrounding environment.Thus,the existing studies cannot accurately gain the current status of traffic impact on urban rail transit engineering in Wuhan.Based on such situation,this paper conducted a four-month video data collection on the construction area of rail transit engineering in Wuhan in order to obtain real data on the traffic capacity of the construction area,meanwhile,analyze the factors of traffic capacity and the status quo of traffic impact in the construction area.Firstly,by analyzing the field survey data on the specific road sections,from the perspective of construction methods,road occupation forms and traffic elements,this paper analyzed the impact of road occupation construction on the traffic,and comparatively analyzed the speed,traffic volume and traffic composition of each lane before and after the construction.The result showed that after the road occupation construction,the traffic volume of the inner lane is the largest,and the speed of passenger cars and buses is slowing down.Secondly,this paper analyzed the impact of road occupation on pedestrians,motor vehicles,non-motor vehicles and the surrounding environment.Through correlation analysis and factor screening,it was found that the circulation capacity was significantly related to the reduction in the number of lanes,the width of the shared lanes for non-motor vehicles and pedestrians,the number of non-motor vehicles mixed in the motor lanes,and the number of pedestrians mixed in the motor lanes.Among them,the width of the shared lanes of non-motor vehicles and pedestrians is significantly positively correlated with the capacity,while the reduction of the number of lanes,the number of non-motor vehicles mixed with motor vehicles,and the number of pedestrians mixed with motor vehicles are negatively correlated.With multiple stepwise regression analysis,a regression prediction model of mixed traffic circulation capacity of the construction area in rail transit engineering in Wuhan was established,and theprediction model was verified.Finally,according to the four obvious factors in the prediction model and the related problems existing in the construction area of road occupation in Wuhan,the corresponding traffic organization strategy was proposed in terms of the setting of traffic facilities and the width of road occupation in the construction area.
