Study On The Operating Environment Of Outdoor Units Of Split-type Air Conditioners In Office Buildings From Wuhan

Based on the survey of the installation modes of the outdoor units in Office Buildings from Wuhan,the operating environment of the outdoor units in different installation modes had been studied by theoretical analysis,air-enthalpy laboratory test,field test and numerical simulation.The survey indicated that the most disadvantageous installation mode of outdoor units of split-type air conditioners was that only one face of the outdoor units contacted with the air.Besides,the most disadvantageous installation mode of outdoor modules of multi-split air conditioners was the under-the-roof type.The theoretical analysis showed that the factors which affected the energy efficiency of split air conditioning units were regional differences and climate change,the installation modes of outdoor units,etc.The installation modes of outdoor units included the number of faces that contacted with the air,louver pitch and louver angle,mounting distances,etc.The experiments in the enthalpy difference lab and field tests in typical office buildings suggested that the way to improve the energy efficiency of the air conditioners were increasing the numbe of faces that contacted with the air,reducing the louver angle,and increasing the mounting distances of inlet sides,ect.In addition,the louver angle should be 0 degrees to downward 30 degrees.Under the condition of limited installation platform,priority should be given to satisfy the mounting distances of inlet sides.The simulation,which reflected the operating environment of outdoor units of split-type air conditioners,showed that the louver spacing should be not less than 100 mm for the good operating environment.Besides,the numbe of faces that contacted with the air should be at least two.The size of the installation platform should not be less than 1400×720×900mm.And moreover,it could effectively improve the operating environment of outdoor units that installating a partition board between the left inlet and the outlet.The simulation,which reflected the operating environment of outdoor modules of multi-split air conditioners indicated that When the inlets of outdoor modules were in parallel,the installation spacing should not be less than 800 mm.When the inlets of outdoor modules were face to face,the installation distance should not be less than 500 mm.In addition,the installation,with which the inlets of outdoor modules were face to face,should be avoided when the device layer had a roof.
