Because high altitude engine which can keep the power to the rated magnitude arises,as well as the speed range expand due to the aircraft started speed increases,some researchers propose the program that a large propeller to achieve takeoff,with a small propeller to complete the high-speed flight.Meanwhile,in flight,if an engine failure stop occurs,the propeller of the stopped engine can be set to feathering to reduce flight resistance.Therefore,the research of the aircraft pitch propeller has become a hot issue.With comparative analysis of two different variable pitch mechanism characteristic,this paper build a mathematical model of the motor-driven variable-pitch actuator,and build a mechatronics model of the variable-pitch propeller mechanism,further analysis the stability of variable pitch mechanism,the accuracy of the target position control and the reliability of the component stiffness,put forward the analysis method that from the three-dimensional entity model to the design research of the physical prototype.First,design the virtual prototype of the propeller according to the analysis of the aircraft's flight environment and the motion characteristics of the variable-pitch mechanism,build core principle machine model of the propeller's variable-pitch mechanism.Meanwhile,optimized design of variable pitch mechanism,obtain optimum transmission angle,for variable pitch propeller mechanism provides a foundation for further studies in the basis.Secondly,based on the principle machine model to build the mathematical model of the propeller variable-pitch mechanism,and analyze its kinematics and dynamics.At the same time,verify the stiffness of the mechanism model with calculation.Based on the calculation and analysis of the propeller variable-pitch mechanism,analyse the hardware circuit design of propeller variable-pitch control system,set up the control system of variable-pitch mechanism and put forward a control algorithm which is suitable for the control system.Finally,through the integrated use of three-dimensional modeling software and dynamics simulation software to build a virtual prototype model of aircraft propeller variable-pitch mechanism and control system,and analyze the mechanism's statics,kinematics and dynamics,while the correlative analysis of dynamic simulation of the mechanism is made.The results show that when the propeller variable-pitch mechanism can follow the operation instructions with smooth motion,fast response,and high positioning accuracy;the mechanism is designed to be simple,low overall weight,easy to maintain,can achieve design goals.
