As the country’s population grows, the process of urbanization is accelerating, and the variety of buildings is increasing,so the problems of building wind environment comfort and structural stability are becoming more and more serious. The generalized building wind environment mainly includes outdoor wind environment and indoor natural ventilation, the distribution of wind pressure on the surface of the building is closely related to the surrounding wind environment,so the study of the indoor and outdoor wind environment and wind pressure distribution of the building plays an important role in improving people’s living standards and improving the stability of the building structure. In terms of wind environment research on single buildings, firstly, the characteristics of wind pressure distribution on the surface of low-rise buildings under a variety of window opening conditions are studied through a combination of numerical simulation and wind tunnel tests. Finally, the multi-influencing factors of the natural ventilation capacity of low-rise buildings are summarized by summarizing the results obtained from all working conditions.Regarding the wind environment of group buildings, the characteristics of wind environment and surface pressure distribution of low-rise and high-rise building groups under three typical layout formats are respectively studied. For low-rise buildings, through wind tunnel tests combined with numerical simulation methods, the effects of different building layouts on indoor ventilation and roof wind pressure distribution are studied.Compared with undisturbed single buildings, the indoor ventilation of low-rise buildings is more affected by the outdoor wind field, and the roof wind load is also affected to a certain extent by the interference of surrounding buildings. For high-rise buildings, the disturbed indoor and outdoor wind environment and wind pressure distribution are more complicated than those of low-rise buildings, mainly because the interference effect between high-rise buildings is more significant.Since the buildings in real life are not all arranged regularly, the building shapes are also more complicated. Therefore, finally, through an actual engineering case of a complex surrounding building, the wind pressure on the building surface and the surrounding wind environment with or without surrounding interference are analyzed. In summary, the wind tunnel test and numerical simulation are used to study the building wind environment and wind pressure distribution. The results of the two are relatively consistent. The conclusions obtained can provide a reference for the optimization of the design of the building and improve the quality of the surrounding wind environment of residents.
