Research On The Public Space Design Of University Building Roofs

With the rapid development of urbanization construction and the expansion of the scale of colleges and universities each year,environmental pollution is serious,building energy consumption is increasing,the green space rate and the per capita active area on the campus are constantly decreasing.Lack of reasonable construction,so it is particularly important for the design and utilization of roof public space.The research on the design of rooftop public spaces in universities can not only improve the environmental problems in cities and campuses,help the practice of green energy-saving technologies,but also enrich the urban context and campus culture,shape the signs and symbols of cities and campuses,and have the significance of landscape creation,can also improve the negative space in the campus environment,enrich the campus life of teachers and students,and create a beautiful campus environment.In view of the above problems,this article mainly researches the design of the public roof space of the university from the following four aspects.First of all,in-depth study of the relevant concepts of roof public space,through the literature analysis method to summarize the theory of places in the urban public space,map theory and environmental psychology theory,which have a certain effect on the design of roof public space,and explore domestic and foreign roof The development of public space.Secondly,it investigates and analyzes the functions and behavioral activities of rooftop public spaces in college buildings.The questionnaire survey method and field survey method are used to summarize the influencingfactors of roof function design,including safety and accessibility,behavioral activity and gender ratio,subject specialty and building function type,equipment pipe network and climate environment,and cost and management;The function types of the roof can be summarized,which can be divided into landscape green space,activity relaxation space,teaching experiment space,learning communication space,drying space and transportation connection space;small group,boundary,necessity,short-term and time,Photonality and avoidance are defined as the behavioral characteristics of the users of rooftop public spaces of college buildings;and the problems existing in rooftop public spaces of college buildings are discovered from the perspective of urban space,campus culture and roof design.Thirdly,the design strategy of public space on the roof of the university is proposed.The overall design of the campus environment and building space,the diverse design of functional composition,building forms and interface materials,the humanized design of materials,landscape elements and public facilities,the ecological design of roof greening,rainwater utilization and solar energy technology,Comprehensively research the design strategy of the university roof public space from four aspects.Finally,the reform plan design of the rooftop public space with high utilization rate of The HongXiang campus of university of south china is designed.Preliminarily analyze and summarize the roofs of the civil engineering building and the fifth teaching building through site environment analysis,roof status analysis,functional requirements analysis,sunlight and wind environment analysis,and then design the roof reconstruction plan,and then complete the completed plan The cost and benefit estimation will provide a technical solution and scientific basis for the reconstruction of the public roof space of college buildings in the future.
