| With the rapid development of urbanization in the world,the progress of economy and science and technology,the transformation and expansion of many cities and the promotion of economic development,the economic development will lead to other problems,such as the original ecological environment changes,the reduction of land area,air pollution and so on.Roofs are the uppermost part of a building and tend to be overlooked.We need to reunderstand the meaning of the roof of mankind,giving full play to the roof itself and its deeper value.First of all,this paper introduces the present situation of domestic and foreign city public building roof space utilization and development prospect in the future and understand the focus of research at home and abroad,and summarized.Lay a theoretical foundation for the rich and complete.Then according to the classification of city public building roof space utilization and the different characteristics of the design of the use of the roof,we summed up the favorable conditions and actual value of roof space utilization.Our innovative design method from two aspects of the macro and micro aspects of the use of the roof.Finally,through personally involved in the design of KDU(Defence University Kotelawela)hospital roof greening actual case,the specific design method into which,to achieve a combination of theory and practice.There are many benefits of rational use of city public building roof space,can form a protective layer on top of the building,protection of buildings;while purifying the air,so that the quality of people’s living environment is obviously improved;also can be used as the city landscape,and recreation and sports field.Therefore,the urban public building roof space has great potential for development,and to enable the roof space has become a trend. |
