Study On The Location Of Inland Container Hub Port In The Yangtze River Economic Belt

With the development of the strategy of the Yangtze River economic belt,more and more container shipping companies are carrying out the transportation business of container goods in the Yangtze River trunk line.These shipping companies have container lines between the ports of the Yangtze River channel,which causes some problems such as overcrowding,waste of transportation capacity,scattered container cargo volume,low utilization rate of shipping containers,poor earnings of shipping companies,etc The development of the company's container business is faced with many challenges,which makes the shipping companies to select the appropriate container hub port to integrate the container resources,achieve scale efficiency,and solve the current development problems.This paper takes the location of inland container transport hub in the Yangtze River economic belt as the research object.Firstly,it summarizes the research results of the current location theory at home and abroad,and summarizes the classic network location theory and the classic methods of multi-objective optimization.Then,it gives the connotation and elements of the Inland container transport system,and makes a systematic study of the development of inland container transport at home and abroad This paper analyzes and summarizes the current situation of inland container transportation in the Yangtze River economic belt,analyzes the factors that promote the development of container transportation in the Yangtze River main line and the main problems existing in the development of container transportation;then,according to the characteristics and actual situation of inland container transportation network in the Yangtze River economic belt,it establishes the double objectives of hub location selection based on the Yangtze River main line container transportation network Finally,the branch and bound algorithm is used to solve the model,and lingo software is used to find the optimal solution of the location of the Yangtze River Economic Belt container hub port,and the specific location of the hub port with the lowest total cost is obtained.The innovative achievement of this paper is that in the process of optimizing the location of inland river container hub in the Yangtze River economic belt,the limitation of hub capacity in the traditional single distribution hub location problem with limited capacity is removed,and the second objective function is introduced to measure the time needed for hub to process flow,which makes up the limitation of the classical hub location problem with limited capacity It is more suitable for the optimal solution of hub location which is preferred by shipping companies.The research of this paper can provide some reference value for the location of similar inland navigation hub port.
