China is a major importer of crude oil in the world.More than 90%of the crude oil is transported by ships,in which VLCC ships play an important role.The operation of VLCC ships has an important impact on the economic development of the society and the safety of personnel,as well as the protection of Marine ecological environment.On VLCC combined transportation' security into the berth in the link,the existing research focus has focused on VLCC combined shipping port security control,there is no comprehensive use of AIS data the process of the mooring ship trajectory analysis research.Therefore,using AIS data analysis of mooring process of position,speed and heading into the security control area,establishing VLCC combined into the navigation safety early warning system is very necessary.This paper selects the no.1 VLCC berth of Suanshan wharf in zhoushan port of Ningbo,the largest port in the world,as the research object.Firstly,the scope and content of VLCC ship information reality survey,as well as the basic standard of statistical gate line setting,are determined based on the key points of berth 1 VLCC at Suanshan wharf.Secondly,135 historical track data of VLCC ships entering berth no.1 berth of Suanshan wharf from 2016 to 2018 were collected through the AIS information service platform of ship information network.According to the characteristics of track data,the ship position,course and speed were subdivided into statistical gate lines,and the ship entering position,course and speed in each gate line area were statistically analyzed.Based on the analysis and summary of statistical data,combined with the operation specification of berth no.1 of Suanshan wharf and the suggestions of local pilot station,the safe control range of berth entry position,heading and speed of VLCC was determined.Thirdly,according to the characteristics of track width,speed and heading of AIS track data,MATLAB was used to carry out curve fitting for corresponding points of position-direction and position-speed,and the real-time speed and course control model of VLCC at any position within the scope of berth entry monitoring was obtained.Finally,ECDIS,which is highly compatible with AIS data,is used to design and develop the early warning system of VLCC entry safety,which can comprehensively monitor the speed,course control and track rationality of the VLCC in real time to ensure the entry safety of VLCC.This paper analyzes the characteristics of VLCC entry trajectory,such as track width,speed and heading statistical characteristics,for the actual berthing operation of VLCC has certain guiding significance,the development of VLCC entry safety warning system can effectively monitor and early warning of VLCC entry,so as to improve the safety of VLCC entry operation.
