Stroke is a brain tissue damage of the acute cerebrovascular disease.According to statistics, there are about 2.4 million new stroke patients in China every year,of which nearly 80%of the stroke patients will be accompanied with hand dysfunction, seriously affecting the quality of life of the patients and their families. At present, the rehabilitation training for stroke is usually limited, especially for home-based rehabilitation, which is characterized by over-reliance on doctors and professional rehabilitation equipment and has the disadvantages of high cost, difficult operation and low portability. At the same time, stroke rehabilitation therapy is not only the training of the limbs, but the most important is also to promote the brain nerve remodeling and then restore the patient's motor function.Studies found that a rich environment containing multiple sensory stimuli can enable users to participate in physiological, sensory and social activities at the same time, regulate multiple biological mechanisms, and more effectively promote movement, cognitive and neurological recovery. In this paper, based on the application of multisensory stimulation in stroke hand rehabilitation products, the design principles and assessment framework of multisensory products under stroke rehabilitation training were proposed, and based on the research foundation of the project group, the user requirements are refined to guide the development of the product prototype, and then the feasibility test of the concept is completed through the experimental assessment framework, and the product design requirements are improved and optimized,on this basis, the design of hand rehabilitation products for patients with multisensory was completed.Firstly, the basic principles of stroke, the related theory of multi-sensory channels and the near-infrared spectroscopy(NIRS)technique are summarized in this paper.By interpreting the special needs of stroke hand rehabilitation training, and the characteristics and principles of multisensory stimulation, the principle of multisensory channel design is formed.Meanwhile, based on stroke rehabilitation texture and assessment technology,an assessment framework for multisensory stroke rehabilitation was developed.Secondly, collating the raw user survey data of stroke patients and stakeholders, extract the user needs of stroke patients for rehabilitation training, and complete the product function prototype development based on the previous research of the research group. The experiment assessment test was used to acquire the user's feedback and the shortcomings, and then to improve the product design requirements for subsequent product design. Finally,by exploring the input form of multisensory channel stimulation, and based on the principles of multisensory stimulation design and product design requirements, the design elements of stroke hand rehabilitation products, such as function,human-machine interaction, modeling and CMF,were analyzed to determine the design direction of the products.Based on the above research results, the product design scheme is proposed, and the detailed function, structure, appearance, and Ergonomics of the scheme are planned, thus completing the design of the multisensory hand rehabilitation product. In this paper,we aimed at the stroke patients with hand dysfunction and tried to integrate the multisensory channel stimulation into the stroke rehabilitation training in design means by the method of combining theory with practice.Following the thought from requirement acquisition analysis to product prototype development and evaluation testing to complete product design,to help stroke patients to carry out hand rehabilitation training scientifically and effectively.Which not only broadens the approach of stroke rehabilitation, but also provides some guidance for the design and development of stroke rehabilitation products and evaluation process.
