The electric power steering system has been rapidly developed and widely used in recent years.It has been widely used in economic vehicles Today's vehicles are being upgraded at a faster pace.It is difficult to meet the needs of vehicle replacement only with the vehicle test.The vehicle test also has problems such as safety and higher test costs.Therefore,it has important theoretical and practical values for optimizing the electric power steering system to development of an electric power steering transmission performance test bench,which simulates the actual working conditions of the electric power steering transmission,and tests various performance parameters of the electric power steering transmission.Based on the research and analysis of electric power steering test benches at home and abroad,this paper combines the structural characteristics and working characteristics of electric power steering transmission mechanisms with reference to the technical requirements and test methods of electric power steering systems in the automotive industry standard " Vehicle Electric Power Steering Devices".Put forward the performance evaluation index of electric power steering transmission mechanism that meets the actual needs of enterprises.According to the performance evaluation index of the electric power steering transmission mechanism proposed,relevant test methods are designed,and the overall design scheme of the test bench is proposed.Based on the test requirements of the electric power steering transmission mechanism performance,analyze the design requirements of the mechanical part of the electric power steering transmission performance test bench,determine the resistance loading method of the test bench,and select the important mechanical parts.Finite element analysis is performed on the designed mechanical mechanism to determine the rationality of the mechanical design.Combined with the design scheme of the mechanical part of the electric power steering transmission performance test bench and the test requirements of the electric power steering transmission mechanism performance,complete the design of the electrical part of the test bench.Analyze the structural characteristics and working principles of important components such as sensors and data acquisition cards,and give the selected model and its basic parameters.According to the test method,complete the main circuit design and PLC software design of the test bench.Set up the hardware part of the test bench.Based on the performance index system of the electric power steering transmission mechanism,combined with the established test bench measurement and control system,the software design requirements are proposed,the test bench measurement and control software development platform is determined,and the software flowchart is written.The measurement and control system software is divided into PLC communication module,data acquisition module,data display module,data storage module,data playback module and other parts,and detailed design and description of each module.And after the measurement and control system software is written,the test run is performed on the test bench.Analyze the test data of each test item to verify the performance of the test bench.
