Building Information Modeling(BIM)is another revolutionary computer application technology in the field of construction following Computer Aided Design(CAD)technology.As one of the world's largest construction markets,BIM technology is developing faster and faster in China's construction field,and engineering management is one of the core contents of engineering construction project management.Its management effectiveness directly affects the final value of the project.Therefore,at the same time Engineering management professional BIM technical personnel who master BIM technology and engineering management expertise are regarded as indispensable and important talents in the construction industry.At present,there is a shortage of BIM technical talents in the domestic engineering management profession,which cannot meet the demand for BIM technical talents in the construction field.Therefore,as a cradle for cultivating BIM technical talents,engineering management majors in ordinary colleges and universities must bear the burden of cultivating the talents needed for the development of BIM in the construction industry and keep up with the pace of BIM development in the industry.However,the current lack of BIM education performance evaluation system for engineering management majors in ordinary colleges and universities has made it more difficult to measure and evaluate the BIM education ability of engineering management majors in ordinary colleges and universities.Therefore,forming a relatively complete BIM education performance evaluation model for engineering management majors in ordinary colleges and universities is a method to solve the judgment of the level of BIM education ability of ordinary college engineering management majors.On the basis of explaining the relationship between BIM and engineering management,performance evaluation and the theory of balanced scorecard,this paper analyzes the development context and characteristics of balanced scorecard,and provides a BIM education evaluation index system for engineering management major in ordinary universities.Certain theoretical basis.By clarifying the strategic objectives of BIM education for engineering management majors in ordinary universities,the BIM education strategic objectives for engineering management majors in ordinary universities are decomposed with the four dimensions of balanced scorecards "customer,internal process and control,learning and growth,finance".Through literature summation and expert interviews,the BIM education performance evaluation index system for ordinary university engineering management majors was established according to the four dimensions of the balanced scorecard theory;the influencing factors were screened according to the questionnaire survey to form the final ordinary university engineering management major BIM education Performance evaluation index system;through the analysis of the weighting method and comprehensive evaluation method,the OWA operator weighting method is used to determine the weight of the BIM education performance evaluation index for the general university engineering management major,and the matter-element extension method is used to establish the general university engineering management major The comprehensive evaluation model of BIM education performance is based on the case of engineering management major of A University.The evaluation index system and matter-element extension analysis method established in this paper are used to evaluate it,and the evaluation results are obtained and the targeted improvement of BIM education performance is proposed.Suggestions.Empirical research shows that through the BIM education performance evaluation model of the general university engineering management major constructed in this paper,the university's engineering management major can clearly know its current BIM education ability,and at the same time,it can also know from which aspects to improve the BIM education ability to reach the ordinary university engineering Strategic goals pursued by management professional BIM education.
