| With the development of economy and the globalization,there are more competitions among the enterprise.From 2008 the world economy develops slowly and it’s so on in China.In this condition the enterprise not only need to obtain the market share but also to improve their competitions through lowing the costs.And inventory cost is a big part of them.Too much inventory not only wastes the company’s money but takes a risk of devaluing and even scrapping.The demands of market show the characteristics of fast changing which requires higher level of forecasting.The accuracy of forecasting can affect the level of inventory.It becomes the new research direction of inventory turnover.With the high competition of market the traditional technique of inventory turnover can’t meet the requirements of development.Supply chain inventory management is in the ascendant.More and more enterprise hope to reach a higher level of inventory turnover in this way.This paper first introduces the background and purpose of the research.The latest research results of inventory turnover at home and abroad are introduced through relevant books and papers.The theory of demand forecast and supply chain inventory management for inventory turnover problem studied in this paper is mainly expounded.Then it introduces the company’s profile and inventory status.Through the research and analysis of the company’s inventory data and the in-depth interviews with relevant department heads,it is found that the company has two main problems for inventory turnover: inaccurate demand forecast and too single supply mode of suppliers.Then it’s found out the causes of the problems through the analysis on these problems.Finally the corresponding optimized measures are put forward to these two problems.In order to solve the problem of inaccurate demand forecasting,scientific and effective management is needed.There’s a need to set up a professional position according to foreign information.At the same time,based on the theory of demand forecasting,two demand forecasting methods are verified,and finally a forecasting method with high accuracy is determined.As to the problem that the supply mode is too single,the improvement scheme of supply mode diversification is put forward.Firstly,SWOT analysis is used to determine the feasibility of supply chain inventory management.Secondly,based on the latest supply chain inventory management theory,it compares several main management methods and determines that supplier management inventory(VMI)is most suitable for VE company’s own situation.Finally,the necessary steps,safeguard measures and the monitoring of benefit after implementation are described in detail.In the research process of this paper,the problems summarized in VE company inventory turnover are representative in small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises.Hope that it can not only solve the problem of VE company inventory turnover,but also give similar enterprises a certain reference. |
