Research On The Protection And Control Planning Of Jinan Central Axis

Since the reform and opening up,our economy has been developing rapidly,our urbanization has been upgraded,and the scene of domestic cities is changing with the passing day.The impacting of foreign culture and the remolding of our ideas has influenced the development of our urban construction.But our urban construction has experienced pursuit of heavy investment and being too much trendy,this makes us lost traditional style and left us with much irreparable regret.With a long history,Jinan is known as “the City of Springs”,and the construction of Ancient Licheng,also all the way carried on as the Chinese traditional style--the Central Axis has been used to guide the urban pattern and overall layout.The Central City Axis of Jinan starts with natural mountains and rivers,and takes the Ancient Licheng as the core,rises from the landscape,possesses characteristics of "Mountain,Spring Water and City".Being different from those cities--which are full of artificial factors,the Jinan CentralAxis blended in the nature,is beautiful and graceful as the Southern Cities of China,and then solemn and magnificent as the Northern Cities,few of urban Central Axes of the world possesses these characteristics.With nature landscape as its main feature,the Jinan Central Axis is certainly the typical representative of the CentralAxes in our history about urban planning and construction.But in the so far,less attention has been paid to the value of the Traditional Central Axis during the development of Jinan city,neither protection nor control has been implemented,even some relating works has been done(e.g.,the planning about characteristic features belt of “the City of Springs”),the concept of Central Axis still not be formally put forward,no extensive attention has been paid in the practical construction,which made the Jinan Central Axis Space neglected and destructed by different degree during the process of urban development,which left a lot of failure and regret,and made us painful.In order to revisit the quintessence of the ancient outstanding planning thought,to arouse the attention to the protection of the Jinan Central Axis,restore the features and charm of “the City of Springs”,reveal the soul of Jinan city,this article regards the protection and control of the Jinan CentralAxis as the research subject,to reread,reconsider,reshape the Jinan Central Axis,and to seek the method to guide people to protect,control and develop the Jinan Central Axis,against the currentsituation.The first chapter introduces the research background,discusses the research purpose and significance,defines the research object,content and method,and defines the research framework and research approach.The second chapter starts from the cognition of the Urban Central Axis,explains the relevant concepts and theories of the Central Axis,summarizes the relevant research trends at home and abroad,and conducts case study analysis on the typical Urban Central Axis.The third chapter combs the history of the construction of Jinan city and the evolution of the CentralAxis,makes the value analysis of the Jinan Central Axis,puts forward the spatial characteristics of the Jinan Central Axis as the value of carrier,induces components of the Jinan Central Axis,evaluates of the use of the Jinan Central Axis in the form of divided sections,and summarizes the present problems.The fourth and fifth chapters are the core of the thesis.The fourth chapter,based on the current situation and relevant planning,summarizes the spatial composition of the Central Axis of Jinan city and attempts to reconstruct the overall structure.In view of the current situation,the measures of protection and control of the CentralAxis are proposed,in order that,by the way of using the Central Axis,Jinan city may continue its history and inherit the urban culture better,and become an important link between urban space and natural landscape.Fifth chapter elaborates the future development trend for the Jinan Central Axis,establishes the overall position of the Jinan Central Axis and then the development strategy of the center city,clears the theme and focus of the design of each section,and guides the design of the important node for sections,in order that the value of the Central Axis to be brought into full play,and ensures that the development is in a healthy and ordered way,and then lets the charm of the Jinan CentralAxis showed.Based on the natural landscape,historical and cultural characteristics,the author expounds the valuable value contained in the Central Axis of Jinan,and then its position and importance in the future development of the city.By clarifying the natural ecological background,by protecting the Springs,formatting the public space features,improving the quality of the visual space characteristics,protecting the historic culture,building artificial landscape and grasping the important node of exploration,the author tries to protect and control the Jinan Central Axis better,and to guide to the future development of the Jinan Central Axis,to build the natural landscape city focus on the Jinan City Center Axis.
