Study On The Application Of Blue And White Porcelain In The Design Of Catering Space

With the rapid development of national economy and the improvement of people's living standards,the catering service industry as the tertiary industry has also been booming.Catering culture and unique dining environment have also become part of people's pursuit of quality of life.Then emerged the theme restaurant,fashion restaurant and folk restaurant and other forms.At present,the demand of consumers for dining space is not only to meet the basic dining function,but also to get spiritual satisfaction at the same time.Today,with the development of traditional culture,catering space design with traditional culture as the theme is favored by consumers.On the one hand,it enriches the diversity of catering space design,on the other hand,it also plays an important role in promoting the inheritance and innovation of excellent traditional culture and art.As an important part of Chinese traditional culture,blue and white porcelain is a wonderful piece of work in ceramic art.Its biggest characteristic is that the white ground is lined with blue patterns,giving a simple,clean and gentle feeling,showing an effect of traditional Chinese ink painting.The patterns of blue and white porcelain vary in different periods,showing the charm of ceramic art in traditional culture.Now the blue and white porcelain decorative art is is favored by the designers.In view of this,the author combines the blue and white porcelain arts with the theme restaurant.Firstly,starting from the basic concept of blue and white porcelain art,making a comprehensive analysis of it by means of on-site investigation,literature reading and data search,classifying and summarizing the different vase types and patterns.Secondly,analyzing the status of theme restaurant design and the relevant domestic and foreign theme restaurant cases,exploring the application of blue and white porcelain art in catering space design and analyzing the feasibility,providing atheoretical basis for the design of blue and white porcelain theme restaurant.This paper explores and studies how to express the blue and white porcelain arts in catering space,and sorts out the relevant concepts such as blue and white porcelain art,catering space design and interior decoration.Taking the blue and white porcelain theme restaurant in Jingdezhen for example,this paper explores the expression of blue and white porcelain art in catering space design thoroughly,discusses the meaning of blue and white porcelain art in the catering space design,meanwhile analyzes the design principles and combination methods,extracts the highly decorative and representative blue and white porcelain patterns,integrating them into the design of theme restaurant,creating a Chinese art featured work.
