Application And Research Of Footpath Landscape In City Park

The pace of urbanization process is accelerating at this stage.In order to enhance city image,beatify and improve ecological environment,China also accelerates the construction of city parks to better serve citizens' demand.As the vein of city park,footpath landscape plays an important role in enriching city park landscape contents and improving landscape functions and is also an important link in boosting overall quality of city park landscape,thus arousing extensive attention in the industry.However,as people have higher demand for public landscape space,problems such as single landscape environment,disordered field organization and insufficient supporting facilities have been revealed in city parks and park footpaths,which are important parts of urban public landscape space system.They are unable to meet all people's requirements at higher level.Taking footpath landscape in the city park as the research object,this paper first introduces research background and specified research objective and significance of footpath landscape in the city park.It also analyzes current status and development of researches at home and abroad and defines research contents and methods.Secondly,it points out roles of footpath landscape in city park including space organization,traffic guidance,ecological balance,social fitness and cultural education through analysis of relevant theories such as“city park” and “footpath landscape”.Thirdly,on the basis of theoretical study,it puts forward that city park footpath landscape is characterized by systematic unit,abundant forms,multiple functions and diversified users and is influenced by both natural and human factors.On this basis,four principles including people orientation,ecology priority,spatial coordination and cultural inheritance should be followed during design of city park footpath landscape.In this way,city park footpath landscape's diversified functions,hierarchical forms,ecological modes and humanistic design can be achieved by transforming spatial functional layout,strengthening the level of spatial forms,constructing ecological spatial modes and stressinghumanistic expression of design.Last but not least,choosing the footpath landscape of Jinan Huancheng Park as a practical design case,it probes into existing problems in the site and discusses specific application of footpath landscape in Jinan Huancheng Park based on design principles and strategies.
