The interconnection between marine vessels and information of maritime comnunication requires higher demands on bandwidth,delay,capacity and reliability.To build and simulate the maritime wireless propagation loss model accurately is the key to improve the communication quality and efficiency and overcome the distortion.The traditional simulation methods use mathematical formulas and charts to demonstrate,which results in low real-time simulation data and boring simulation process.Therefore,there is still a lack of a more applicable maritime wireless propagation loss model,which covers multiple communication frequency bands and propagation loss factors.In summary,this thesis designs and implements a virtual visual simulation platform for maritime wireless propagation loss by combining virtual visualization technology with maritime wireless propagation loss model,which improves the previous demonstration based on mathematical formulas and charts.The platform demonstrates the maritime wireless propagation effect in real time,establish the relationship between communication quality and factors and realize the visual expression of data features.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the significance and application of virtual visual simulation of maritime wireless propagation loss,then applies the function and architecture design scheme to the whole platform.Secondly,the traditional maritime wireless propagation loss model is analyzed,and the principles and calculation methods of free space loss,reflection loss,diffraction loss and atmospheric absorption loss are discussed in detail.Then,the four losses are combined to eonstruct a maritime wireless propagation loss model,which provides a theoretieal basis for the research of virtual visual simulation of maritime wireless propagation loss.Thirdly,the implementation of virtual visual simulation of marit:ime wireless propagation loss is discussed.The thesis uses 3ds MAX to model ships and base stations and uses Unity 3D to implement interface and human-computer interaction then uses Visual Studio scripting to implement the data scheduling and embedding in maritime communication scenarios.Finally,the maritime wireless propagation loss model is combined with the virtual visualization technology in order to build an interactive communication simulation platform with stronger substitution,higher real-time data and lower cost.The simulation results indicated that the maritime wireless propagation loss data calculated by virtual visualization simulation platform is close to the theoretical calculation results.In addition,the simulation platform can better simulate the operation state of marine vessels,ocean weather changes and the trend of wireless propagation loss model at sea.The virtual visual simulation platform for maritime wireless propagation loss is conducive to the design and research of future maritime wireless communication performance analysis and network construction.
