Transportation is an important support for the development of national economy.As the hub of maritime transportation,the production and operation efficiency of container port is related to the smooth flow of maritime transportation.Based on the background of the increasing throughput of container ports and the trend of large ships,this paper studies the joint scheduling optimization of continuous berths and quay crane of container terminals.Different from the previous studies,which mostly focused on minimization of total time of ships in ports for optimization,this paper analyzed the berthing preference of ships and the service process of ships in ports,and divided the service process of ships in ports into two time periods and three operation-related links.On this basis,a scheduling model with berthing preference as the objective function and the minimum total service cost of ships in ports was established.The total service cost includes the penalty cost for deviating from the preferred berthing time,the penalty cost for demurrage,the additional transportation cost for the truck for deviating from the preferred berthing position,and the launching configuration cost and loading and unloading operation cost of the quay crane during the berthing operation.The model also considers the service characteristics of continuous berths,the spatial and temporal constraints of ship berthing and the relevant constraints of quay crane operation.A heuristic genetic algorithm based on berthing strategy is designed according to the constraint conditions involved in berth quay bridge joint scheduling problem and the operation characteristics and rules after the ship arrives at the port.Based on the analysis of the results of the scheme,two comparative experiments were designed and solved,and the results of the optimal scheduling scheme obtained from the two comparative experiments were compared with the optimal scheduling scheme obtained under the model in this paper.It was concluded that the ship waiting time of the scheduling scheme under the model in this paper was relatively short,the berthing position deviation was relatively small,and the total service cost was the lowest,which verified the effectiveness of the model and algorithm in this paper.
