Landscape Design Strategy Of Small Scale Space

In the urban built-up area,the construction of large-scale urban parks and squares isbecoming more and more unsustainable.It is unrealistic to focus on the construction of large-scale green space projects.In the process of urban development,the green space in the city is gradually reducing,and the trend of fragmentation begins to appear.The urban green space is undergoing a process of evolution from large to small.On the other hand,the fast-paced life makes people's demand for a good living environment and sufficient leisure green space is increasing day by day,and the small space which is more and more closely connected with the daily work and life of residents can not be ignored.Therefore,this paper makes a research on the topic of"landscape design strategy of small-scale space".Through reading a large number of relevant literature,this paper summarizes the domestic and foreign research status of landscape construction of small-scale space,combined with field research,and discusses a series of issues such as the identification,classification,characteristics,selection of landscape elements,landscape design of small-scale space.This paper focuses on two core parts of cognition and design of small-scale space,and finally tests the rationality and operability of the theory through practice,and obtains the following conclusions:(1)As for the cognition of small-scale space,this paper starts from the attribute angle of small-scale space,analyzes and summarizes the four attributes of small-scale space,which are the land use attribute of green space and square,the public space attribute,the functional attribute mainly for leisure and recreation,and the scale attribute meeting the minimum functional requirements but not more than 1 hm~2.(2)The characteristics of small-scale space are summarized as small area,small service radius,strong accessibility,high frequency of use and relatively single function.(3)Referring to the current academic classification of green space,according to the main landscape functions embodied in small-scale space,it is divided into four types:quiet and leisure small-scale space,assembly and entertainment small-scale space,children's activity small-scale space and fitness and exercise small-scale space.(4)On the landscape construction of small-scale space,from the field research,the final result is the practice test.First of all,based on the field research,six kinds of small-scale space landscape design elements are summarized.After analyzing the design differences of different types of small-scale space,the paper finally summarizes the landscape design principles of small-scale space,that is,it needs to be guided by the functional principle,combined with the needs of people,reflect the landscape details,consider cost saving,and show the overall artistry.
