Study On The Spatial Place Of Traditional Residential Courtyard Entrance In Taihang Mountain Area In Southern Hebei Province

This research is based on the theory of the space of Norwegian architecture master Norberg Schultz.The purpose of the spatial study on the entrance of the traditional residential buildings in the Taihang mountainous areas of southern Hebei is to explore mutual influence between the actual space form of the entrance of the Chinese traditional residential building and its internal spirit.Through the integration of theory and practice combined with graphical research and analysis,it illustrates the internal mechanism of the development and replacement of the entrance of the traditional Chinese residential building.Firstly,the study expounds the place theory and the particularity of the entrance to the traditional residential courtyards in the Taihang mountainous area of southern Hebei,and then puts forward the decisive role of the "place" in the entrances to the residential courtyards in Taihang.It will lay a solid foundation for further exploration through theoretical review and practical investigation and analysis.Secondly,the construction phenomenon,the structure and the spirit of the entrance of the traditional residential courtyard in the Taihang Mountains in southern Hebei are explained based on "place".In this study,the spiritual characteristics of the traditional residential courtyard entrances in Taihang of southern Hebei are summarized into two aspects: regional characteristics and historical characteristics.Through the analysis of the unique regional characteristics and historical and cultural characteristics of the Taihang Mountains,the unique construction principles of the spirit of the entrance to its traditional residential courtyards are summarized.The study is guided by holistic analysis principle.In this research,typical cases are selected for analysis and interpretation,such as some entrances of residential buildings in Wangnao Village,Yingtan Village of Xingtai,Baita Village in Xingtai,Tianmayiang Manor,Handan Guxin Town,and Xujia compound in Wu'an.Among them,Tianmayiang Manor,Baita Village in Xingtaiand Xujia Courtyard are the key research objects,which expounds place spiritual experience of the entrance to the concrete residential courtyard.This study regards architectural phenomenology as a theoretical guide,which can further expand the entrance sequence research dimension of the residential buildings,promote the integrity of traditional architectural space form analysis and contribute to thespatial planning,protection development,and cultural heritage of traditional residential buildings.In addition,this study analyzes the entrance of residential buildings based on the theory of places.Through comparative study of cases,it provides a reference for the place spirit creation in modern architectural design research,and provides new design ideas and theoretical support to common problems in contemporary architectural design and China's new rural construction.The research focus of this paper is based on the place spirit theory of Norbert Schutz,a famous architectural phenomenological master in Norway,which is to study the entrance space of traditional Chinese architecture,especially the entrance space of traditional residential houses in Taihang Mountain Area in Southern Hebei Province,analyzing and integrating the types of entrance space of traditional architecture from the perspectives of the structure of the entrance place,the organization of the entrance space and the region,etc This paper analyzes the design of the traditional building entrance space and the expression of the place spirit,extracts the elements that can be used for the expression of the place spirit,and uses these elements to guide the design of the building entrance space in the actual project.At the same time,combined with the field investigation,this paper discusses the design of the entrance space of the residential buildings in Taihang Mountain Area in Southern Hebei Province,summarizes the methods and Strategies of the spiritual expression of the entrance space of the residential buildings,and makes the architectural space vocabulary of internal and external communication inherit and develop in modern architecture from the perspective of tradition and region,and also hopes that the research of this paper in the entrance space of the residential buildings can be simple It provides a certain reference value for the construction of new rural houses in China.
