The aviation industry of China has developed very rapidly in recent years.Aviation maintenance is the basis for ensuring aviation safety and operations.For a long time,aviation maintenance practical training has relied on physical aircrafts or equipments.Limited by hardware conditions,it is difficult to implement training for systemic or processed task such as test and troubleshooting.The virtual maintenance training system can complete training iterms that physical training does not have or is difficult to carry out.At the same time,they can complement with each other,thereby enriching aircraft maintenance training methods and achieving better training results.In addition,the virtual maintenance training method can also reduce training costs,break through environmental condition restrictions,improve safety,and inspire students.Based on analyzing the characteristics of aviation maintenance and comparing the differences between design-oriented and training-oriented virtual maintenance application systems,this paper analyzes the requirements of desktop-type virtual maintenance training system,and implement the function and structure design of the training system.In order to implement the development of training system,key technologies such as 3D modeling,collision detection,human-computer interaction and training effect evaluation were researched.Conducting research and contrastive analysis on mathematical model of spherical bounding box and aligned axis bounding box(AABB)commonly used in collision detection of virtual training systems.Also with the human-computer interaction paradigm of desktop virtual application systems,established the evaluation model based on analytic hierarchy process of virtual maintenance training system.Completed the establishment of 3D models including A320 neo aircraft,various maintenance tools,facilities and airport terrain,and produced all model surface maps.On this basis,the Unity3 D three-dimensional engine is used to integrate all resources have been developed,create training scenes,use C# to write control scripts and develop the graphical user interface.Finally,according to the actual needs of aircraft maintenance training and the latest China civil aviation regulations for aviation maintenance training,this paper achieved the development of original application of desktop-type virtual maintenance training system based on A320 neo,and validates the effectiveness of the evaluation model and design of the training system.
