High pressure water jet technology can effectively clean burrs,with no environmental pollution problems,high cleaning efficiency,low cleaning cost,etc.,it has been widely used in various industries.Burr exists in the oil hole and the connection of the aluminum cylinder head of automobile engine,which has a negative effect on the overall performance of the engine.Once the burr enters the internal system of the engine,it will cause the pipe block,engine cylinder and other failures.In order to further improve the production quality of the engine and reduce the production cost,it is necessary to design a set of high-pressure deburring cleaning process suitable for the aluminum cylinder head to improve the cleanliness of the cylinder head cleaning.This paper mainly contains the following research contents:(1)the cleaning process of current aluminum cylinder head of automobile engine is analyzed,and the principle,classification and composition of current high-pressure water jet technology are introduced.This paper analyzes the mechanism of burr on the cylinder head of automobile engine and puts forward the requirement of relative cleanliness of the aluminum cylinder head of automobile engine.(2)the main components of high-pressure deburring cleaning machine are analyzed,including deburring chamber,high-pressure pump,booster pump,conveying pipeline,filter and nozzle,etc.,and the overall layout of high-pressure deburring cleaning machine is expounded.The design of the high pressure water jet generation system and the nozzle design are discussed.(3)in the experimental study of high pressure deburring cleaning of aluminum cylinder head of automobile engine,the target distance(50mm,100mm,150mm,200mm),cleaning pressure(4MPa,7MPa,10MPa,13MPa)and cleaning speed(2mm/s,4mm/s,6mm/s)were selected for tests respectively,and the best combination of cleaning parameters was explored by analyzing the high pressure deburring effect.The results show that the burr removal efficiency increases first and then decreases with the increase of the target distance,and then increases with the increase of the cleaning pressure.It decreases as the moving speed increases.The best combination of parameters was obtained by using the software to solve the equation:target distance 130mm,cleaning pressure 13MPa and moving speed 2mm/s.Under this parameter combination,the burr removal effect of the aluminum cylinder head of automobile engine is 0.152,which meets the requirements of the burr cleaning of the aluminum cylinder head of automobile engine.
