Research On The Evaluation Of Contribution Degree Of Nanning Wuxu Airport To Regional Economy

In recent years,Southeast Asian countries have witnessed rapid economic development.As China-ASEAN free trade zone has been built,and one belt,one road policy has been put forward,the exchanges between China and ASEAN countries have become increasingly close.Guangxi is the only province connected with ASEAN countries by land and sea,which has a unique location advantage in the trade cooperation between China and ASEAN.Nanning is the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,has obtained the permanent holding right of China ASEAN Expo in 2003,and has become the important link between China and ASEAN.Transportation is the cornerstone of economic development.As the largest aviation hub in Guangxi Autonomous Region and one of China's ten million level airports,Nanning Wuxu International Airport,the first type of open air port and international flight alternate airport,will gain new development vitality with the development of national economy and the attention of autonomous region's policies.This paper uses the production function method to calculate the contribution of Nanning Wuxu airport to the regional economy,established the VAR model by Eviews software,and takes the annual data index of the airport in 2007-2019 and the GDP of Nanning city to calculate.It is found that the direct contribution of the fixed asset investment of the airport to the regional economy is not obvious.In order to further explore and remove the index of airport fixed assets investment,the time series data are divided into 2006-2011 and 2014-2019 according to the time of airport expansion,and Johanson co integration test and Granger causality analysis are carried out using the quarterly data of airport and Nanning City,and the contribution of fixed assets investment to Airport passenger throughput and cargo and mail throughput to regional economy is obtained.The government should increase the investment in Wuxu airport.
