The progress of human society is closely related with the improvement of transportation. Just like the port of 18th-century, railway of the 19 th and highway of the 20 th, the civil aviation airport has become the important symbol of the 21 th century as well as the important part in the urban development and construction. As part of the civil aviation airport, the importance of regional airport in the building of the whole civil aviation network is becoming more and more prominent. However, the domestic attention to the regional airport is not enough so far, and the related research from the perspective of planning is even less. Regional airport has a role in promoting the industrial agglomeration and the formation of airport economic zone in second and third-tier cities. Under the background of the rapid development of urbanization, this paper puts forward the corresponding planning strategies and suggestions about the future according to the construction of regional airport in our country’s actual situation. So as to not only drive the development of urbanization but also form a new economic growth pole under the new normal economic development. O nly in this way can promote the further development of social economy.The paper can be generally divided into the following parts:The first part, consisted of the first two chapters, introduces the topic and the basic theory study in the present. The first chapter introduces the research background, and clear the purpose and significance of the research, and then finally puts forward the full text of the method and framework. The following chapter defines the basic concepts and theory of the paper, and then summarizes the domestic and foreign research theories and the planned cases in this aspect.The second part, including the third and forth chapters. The third chapter researches the industry choice and layout suitable for our countries situation. And then, it analyzes the characteristics and existing problems of regional aviation development both domestic and abroad form two aspects of theory and practice. The forth chapter mainly analyzes the interactive relationship between the regional airport and the city and introduces the industrial-city interaction model based on the summary of the basic development models of airport economic zone.The third part, the ChapterⅤ, proposes to study planning guides for the regional airport economic zone under the background of industry-city interaction. And then it comes up with the suitable planning countermeasures of regional airport economic zone from aspects of basic conditions, spatial structure, land use and traffic system, in the hope of achieving goals of industry-city interaction development through the guidance of reasonable planning.The forth part, the Chapter Ⅵ,explores planning intervention strategies for the regional airport economic zone suitable for our country in combination with the regulatory planning for the west metro and aviation industry park of Anju area, and empirically testes the above analysis results. The case analysis the basic developing situation of the planning area and finally discusses the suitable planning intervention strategies.The fifth part, the last chapter, summarizes the main achievements and conclusions of the topic, and then put forward the deficiencies and the research direction in the future.This paper takes regional airport economic zone as research objet. Through the study of the interactive relationship between the regional airport and the city, the paper actively introduces the industrial development ideas and planning models of industry-city interaction, and forms a complete a set of development strategies and planning ideas to guide the comprehensive exploitation of the airport economic zone. Specifically, from the aspects of function orientation, spatial structure, land use, transportation system and ecological landscape of regional airport economic zone, combined with the idea of industrial-city interaction, the thesis discusses the planning guidance strategies for the de velopment of the area of regional airport. And then on the basis of development characteristics of regional airport economic zone, it builds the Industry-C ity interactive production unit according to different development area so as to make it convenient for the implementation of planning and construction. In the end, the paper verifies the suggested planning strategies with the planning practice of suining anju airport industrial park.
