The automatic production line for the multi-process pneumatic component is designed in the paper.The cylinder is selected as the main body of the system.At present,the cylinders,which have many kinds and different shapes,are essential in the automatic control system.The main research of the paper is to develop the automatic production line based on the CUJ cylinder.The CUJ cylinder is lainly composed of the material body,end cover,piston,piston rod and the sealing ring.It is produced mainly by the automatic multi-axis processing center equipment.Due to the lack of automation among different production lines,the hulan operator is required to participate in the entire production process to perform operations such as loading,unloading,handling,and changing direction.If many operators have to participate in the production process,there is no advantage in the current market competition from the point of efficiency and product quality.With the increase of output and the continuous improvement of quality requirements,the market’s requirements for production enterprises have also increased.Considering that there are too many uncertainly problem,the demand of production automatic process without operators is getting stronger.The research of the paper is to design the production line to automatically produce the CUJ cylinder with the goal of 8 hours without human operation.SOLIDWORKS is used to design the mechanical hardware part.It is mainly divided into four parts:the manipulator,the loading system,the finishing system,and the flipping system.Each part of the movement is relatively independent,but the whole production process needs all parts to cooperate with each other.Theref-ore,there are certain requirements for layout each part on process.The PLC is used as the control system for the lower machine.HMI plays the role of the upper machine interaction.The PLC connect HMI with the RS485 bus.The CAN bus is used to connect the PLC and PLC nodes.And the PLC connects the servo motor with the RS485 bus.The design of the whole scheme is completely feasible.Finally,the system completes the 8-hour automatically unmanned operation through the cooperation among the manipulator,supply system,unload system and the flipping system.Automation of production lines makes the entire work be more efficient,and it reduces the labor intensity.Automation can improving the production efficiency and product quality.
