At present,most coal yard stackers in power generation enterprises rely on drivers to operate.Due to the improper operation of the driver,the driving lane of the stackers is often blocked and the rotating equipment at the cantilever root is invalid,This leads to unplanned shutdown of stackers,which seriously affects the safety and economy of coal conveying system in thermal power plants.In addition,there are dust and harmful gases in the coal-fired stacking yard,which also endanger the personal health of workers on site.Therefore,how to improve the efficiency of coal yard stacker,reduce labor costs and eliminate manual misoperation is an urgent need for large thermal power plants.In this paper,the feasibility of automation transformation of stacker is analyzed for stacker equipment which has been put into operation for more than 30 years.The working principle of the existing power system,electrical system and testing system of the stacker in Huaneng Dalian Power Plant is studied.Specific modification schemes are proposed for the equipment,including the modification of smooth-loop optical fiber communication system(to ensure optical fiber communication through static and dynamic sliding rings),upgrade of stacker attitude detection system,RFID calibration of stacker attitude,design of unmanned control of stacker and remote operation of stacker(host computer)screen.In this paper,a non-contact code measurement system based on magnetic field coupling technology is used to detect the traveling,rotating and pitching positions of stacker,improving the accuracy of stacker position detection.RFID radio frequency technology is used to correct the attitude data of the stacker,which ensures the accuracy of the operation process of the stacker.The VEGAPULS short-range microwave pulse radar installed at the cantilever head and both sides of the stacker is used to measure the height of the stack,which effectively prevents the formation of the super high coal stack.Control Logix is used as the control platform in the stacker system.The unmanned control logic of the stacker is completed by 1756-L61 series processors and supporting I/O interface.Finally,the debugging of the unmanned control logic of the stacker and the screen of the host computer are completed.The unmanned automatic control system of stacker aircraft was officially delivered to Huaneng Dalian Power Plant in March 2019.At present,the system runs steadily and meets the technical specifications of the design.It not only liberates the labor force of six operators,but also effectively suppresses the occurrence of dust in operation.
