As a historical witness of the Chinese nation's politics,economy,science,culture and military,the earthen sites condenses the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese nation.The Silk Road was used as an important transportation route in ancient Western Regions.There are many famous earth ruins buildings along the line,However,as many as 85% of the earthen sites are distributed in areas with high seismic intensity and frequent occurrence areas,threatening at all times,the safety of earthen sites are threatened at all time,so the assessment of the potential earthquake damage and seismic stability of the earthen sites has become a hot issue in the field of geotechnical relics,which has important social and economic values.At present,the strengthening and protection engineering of earthen sites mainly focuses on rescue work,and lacks consideration of stability against earthquakes.The existing researches on the seismic stability of the earthen sites mainly focus on the overall seismic performance of the existing state of the earthen sites,and the lack of reinforcement methods and technical parameters that affect the seismic stability of the sites is systematically studied.This article addresses the above issues,through the combination of field investigations,geotechnical tests,theoretical analysis and numerical simulation of typical earthen sites,the existing earthen site reinforcement methods and seismic stability were studied and analyzed,and the following results were obtained:(1)Through the experimental study on the physical property parameters of the typical earthen sites along the Silk Road,summarizing soil characteristics such as shear strength,tensile strength,dynamic stress-strain relationship of typical earthen site's soil.Filling in the vacancies of the original earthen site's soil in geotechnical research.Pulsation test analysis of typical earthen sites was conducted to determine their natural frequency and period,and their structural vibration laws under earthquake action were provided to provide a theoretical basis for studying the seismic performance of earthen sites.(2)Summarizing the existing methods of earthen site's reinforcement,the earthensite's reinforcement methods are divided into chemical reinforcement,physical reinforcement and chemical physical reinforcement,and their existing methods are summarized.This paper analysis the physical and chemical physical reinforcement methods of changing the internal stress and strain properties of the earthen sites,list typical earthen site's reinforcement cases,summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the typical reinforcement methods and the scope of application,and compare and analyze different reinforcement methods of the same reinforcement method,which provide reference for technical indicators for the reinforcement and protection of earthen sites.(3)This paper combines reinforcement case data and field survey data,summarizing the technical index parameters of the earthen site's reinforcement methods,performing numerical simulation analysis on typical reinforced earthen sites,comparing the impact of the technical index parameter changes of the earthen site's reinforcement methods on its seismic stability,establishing the relationship about the technical index parameters and the dynamic characteristics of the earthen site's structure under earthquake action,and the optimal index parameters of the reinforcement method technology are proposed to provide a basis for the seismic safety evaluation of the reinforcement technology.
