Earthquake damage to the structure can be estimated by changes in the structure ofthe physical parameters, so that we can identify the physical parameters of the structureby means of the method used to identify the earthquake damage of the structure. Toachieve this goal, we first need to identify the physical parameters of the structure afterinjury, and then calculate the amount of damage before and after the change, andestablish this change relationships between parameters and structural damage state, andthen assessed for structural damage and repair earthquake reinforcement. In this paper,for the frame structure, taking complex inversion algorithm and the weighted leastsquares method identify the stiffness of the frame structure after the earthquake beforethe earthquake, and then according to the decreased of the stiffness, we can determinethe amount of structural damage, and then complete the reinforcement of the overallstructure and repair. To sum up, the main work of this paper are:①This paper system describes status and development of the method of theparameter identification,and the models of the earthquake damage identification andthe repair and the reinforcement of the earthquake damaged structure.②In this paper, we discuss the basic theory of complex algorithms as well asanti-calculation process and use the complex algorithms for frame structure when theinput condition is unknown to complete the parameter identification and seismicinversion. The numerical examples demonstrate the method has strong anti-noiseperformance, but also be able to complete each of the damping parameter identificationproblem.③Discusses the basic theory of the multi-scale wavelet function and use such atheory-based sub-band weighted least squares method to complete the physicalparameters of the multi-frame structure identification problem. Finally, comparing withthe least squares method and Sub-band method of least squares proved that this methodis very high recognition accuracy and has a strong anti-noise performance.④Discusses the earthquake damage assessment model from a material level,structural members level, and overall structure level. Uses a damage index Ghobarahdefined directly in the form of stiffness ratio defined. And then use complex inversionalgorithm and band weighted least squares method to identify the stiffness of a teachingbuilding frame structure before and after the earthquake. Finally, according to the stiffness ratio model Ghobarah proposed, we determine the seismic damage index.⑤Based on the damage index of the last chapter, we establish the restoring forcecurve model of the damage structural, according to initial stiffness and yield strengthequal between the repair structure and the principle structure, we determine thetightening torque Pall friction damper imposed. Finally, we calculate the seismicresponse of the repair structure and compare with the principle structure, the structuralreinforcement proved not only has the original seismic capacity, but also has gooddamping effect.
