Early damage to the asphalt pavement is related to the construction temperature of the asphalt mixture.During the asphalt pavement construction process,the heating temperature and storage temperature of the asphalt,the heating temperature of the mineral material,the mixing temperature of the asphalt mixture,the discharge temperature,the paving temperature,and the rolling temperature are all closely related to the performance and durability of the asphalt pavement.If the construction temperature is too high,it will lead to serious aging of asphalt and shorten the life of asphalt pavement.If the construction temperature is too low,the asphalt pavement will have insufficient compaction,water damage will occur prematurely,and rutting will occur prematurely.The factors affecting the construction temperature of the asphalt mixture are:the discharge temperature of the asphalt mixture,the temperature,the wind speed,the sunlight,the temperature of the lower layer,and the sprinkling of the road roller.In order to standardize the construction,put forward the appropriate construction control temperature and improve the durability of the asphalt pavement,it is necessary to study the construction temperature of the asphalt pavement.This paper first collects the modified asphalt data at home and abroad and makes a simple analysis of the performance of the modified asphalt.Subsequently,different construction methods were used to determine the construction temperature of different asphalts,mainly by modified high-frequency shear viscosity method,standard viscosity-temperature curve method(equal viscosity principle method),zero-shear viscosity method and steady-state shear flow method.The construction temperature of the modified asphalt.The results show that the construction temperature determined by the standard viscosity-temperature curve method is higher than the engineering experience value in actual engineering;the steady shear flow test using dynamic shear rheometer,and the modified asphalt obtained by its corresponding viscosity criterion Construction temperature,lower than engineering experience value;using zero shear viscosity and corresponding equal viscosity criterion,due to calculation and test error,can not get suitable construction temperature range;using HSV high frequency shear viscosity method and equal viscosity criterion The obtained modified asphalt construction temperature meets the engineering practice experience value and the asphalt mixture performance meets the relevant technical requirements.At last,the test road is paved according to the construction temperature obtained from the test,and the track:ing data is observed and analyzed.The construction temperature is in line with the engineering experience and can be used for reference by other similar projects.
