With the improvement of people’s living standard,passengers are not only limited to a single realization displacement,but also pay more attention to the travel experience.They are expected to enjoy comfortable,convenient,safe and fast passenger services during their travels.Therefore,how to analyze passengers’ travel choice behavior and design passenger transportation products combining with high-speed railway market positioning has become an urgent problem to be solved.This paper mainly discusses the optimization design method of high-speed railway passenger transportation products.Based on the analysis of the research status of passenger product design and passenger travel choice behavior at home and abroad,this paper combines the high-speed railway passenger transportation products and consumer behavior basic theory to study the passenger travel choice behavior.From the perspective of comprehensive transportation market competition,this paper studies the market positioning of high-speed railway.Combined with the positioning of the high-speed railway market,the paper designs the integrity of high-speed railway passenger transport products from the core products —— the train operation plan and the form products and additional products including various services.The paper mainly studies the following aspects:Firstly,the paper introduces the connotation and components of high-speed railway passenger transport products,and expounds the design principles of high-speed railway passenger transport products.Through the analysis of consumer behavior,it provides a theoretical basis for the study of passenger travel choice behavior.Secondly,this paper analyzes the influencing factors of passengers’ choice of travel modes from macro and micro levels.By quantifying some influencing factors and using the generalized cost function,the paper constructs the transportation mode selection model.Then it introduces the current distribution and speed grade of high speed railway lines in China,and uses K-means clustering method to divide China’s high speed railway into channel-type high speed railway and intercity high speed railway.From the perspective of competition in the passenger transportation market,the paper compares and analyzes the competitive advantages and disadvantages of various modes of transportation in different transportation distances,and obtains the advantageous transportation distance of high speed railways,and then clarifies the market positioning of high speed railways and intercity high speed railways.Finally,combined with the positioning of the high speed railway market,the design concept of high speed railway passenger transport products is proposed.For the channel-type high speed railway and the intercity high speed railway,the product design methods of different types of high speed railways are studied from three aspects: core products,form products and additional products.The design of the core product is also the design of the train operation plan,which mainly includes the train section,the type of train,the number of trains and the stop plan.The form product design is mainly from the two dimensions of comfort and convenience.The additional product design mainly includes passenger brand design and extended service design.
