As a result of population ageing,natural disasters and other causes,some people are impaired in mobility.Most of the time they can only stay in bed,and some of the necessary actions need to be assisted by medical staff and medical equipment.In this paper,the needs of these patients and the existing medical equipment are investigated and analyzed.It is found that existing equipment have some problems in solving the needs of patients' transportation and toilets.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to design a transfer equipment which can assist bedridden patients to transfer,travel and meet the patients basic needs such as toilet.Firstly,the objectives and problems of the research are clarified,the design concepts that should be observed in the design process are put forward,the relevant data and standards are further investigated,the functions of the transfer equipment according to the objectives to be achieved,the principle scheme is made and selected according to the function,two main bodies of the transfer mat and the transfer vehicle are determined,and the mechanical structure design and partial dimensions determination were carried out according to the principle scheme.Secondly,the dimensions of some structures are limited according to the relevant standards,and the kinematic analysis of the folding mechanism of the transporter vehicle is carried out,the geometric relationship between the length of each rod is determined.the dimensions of the rods of the folding mechanism are optimized through calculated and analyzed by Matlab software.the stroke of the push rod and the length of each rod are finally determined through the calculation and analysis of the force under different rod lengths,and the simulation is carried out by SolidWorks software.Thirdly,the motion analysis and force analysis of the toilet mechanism is carried out to determine the driving force of the input,the finite element analysis is carried out on the key positions of the middle bracket of the transfer mat,the upper pallet and the lower pallet of the transfer vehicle.the strength and deformation of the key parts are analyzed to verify the feasibility and safety of the design.Finally,the control system of the transfer equipment is designed,the overall framework of the control system is formulated,the hardware related to the control system is selected,and the drive motor and synchronous belt are calculated and selected.the control flow of different functions is designed according to the actual working process.
