The printing technology is becoming more and more digital,green and intelligent with the development of science and technology.which industry 4.0 has accelerated the step.At the same time,the precision required by printing is getting higher and higher,the transmission of information is getting more and more huge,the time requirements for transmission is becoming more and more precise.Most of domestic printing still use the traditional bus,so that the speed of transmission and accuracy of transmission can't meet the requirements.Consequently,this paper studies time synchronization technology based on TSN for the digital printing,which can greatly improve the performance of real-time and quantity of transmission,and ensure the certainty of transmission.In this paper,the possible sources of gPTP clock synchronization errors are revealed based on analysis of the synchronization,propagation and forwarding processes of gPTP messages.By analyzing the system model of gPTP,the error of gPTP clock synchronization can be studied,and the maximum error is theoretically estimated.In this paper,two TSN implementation schemes are designed.According to the needs of the project and based on the advantages and disadvantages of the two schemes,the implementation scheme suitable for this paper is selected.Based on the requirements of implementation of TSN system,the overall scheme of the TSN system is designed and submodules were designed and selected.In this paper,the method of node proxy proposed for the simulating the process of time synchronization of gPTP in OMNeT++.Based on the INET architecture,the gPTP is modeled at the physical layer and the MAC layer,and then the time synchronization simulation of gPTP is implemented by using the node proxy method.The superiority of gPTP relative to PTP in clock synchronization is verified.At the end of the paper,the superiority of the TSN is verified by combining experiment and simulation.By designing the TSN experimental scheme and comparing the EtherCAT under the same hardware conditions,the superiority of TSN in clock synchronization control is verified.Finally,the necessity and advantage of TSN as the future industrial backbone network is discussed by studying the superiority of TSN with EtherCAT.
