In recent years,As one of the vigorously promoted clean energy sources,Liquefied petroleum gas(LPG)has been extensively applied to people's life due to its convenient storage and transportation.While LPG brings convenience to people,it also inevitably brings security risks.Therefore,in-depth study of indoor LPG leakage and diffusion process plays a very important role in the safe use of gas for residents,and is of great significance for explosion-proof and disaster reduction.In this paper,the leakage and diffusion process of indoor LPG is studied.The numerical simulation method is used to obtain the concentration field distribution of indoor LPG and the change of combustible volume at different times.The research also considers the opening and closing of doors and windows.The effects of the presence or absence of obstacles and the speed of external wind on the diffusion process of LPG leakage are investigated.Finally,the TNT equivalent method is used to calculate and analyze the shock waves of the explosion in the leaking room,and assess the associated damage to buildings and occupants.The following conclusions can be drawn according to study:(1)The LPG is ejected from the leaking port and sinks to the bottom of the kitchen due to gravity effects and spreads along the ground.As time goes on,the indoor gas concentration increases,forming a combustible area and continuously spreading upward.When the doors and windows are closed,the volume of the indoor flammable area increases first and then decreases.when the window is opened,the indoor LPG leakage diffusion finally reaches dynamic balance,and the volume of the flammable area remains unchanged,accounting for 58% of the total kitchen volume.(2)The external wind speed has an important impact on indoor LPG leakage diffusion process is significant.As the wind speed increases,the horizontal distance of the LPG sprayed from the leak to the ground decreases,and the rate at which the gas cloud isdiluted by air is accelerated.(3)The presence of obstacles changed the diffusion law of indoor LPG gas cloud,hinder the diffusion of gas,and form a local explosion area.The LPG concentration around the obstacle is significantly disturbed,resulting in an increase in the concentration of gas at the bottom of the kitchen.(4)When doors and windows are closed,the damages to buildings and occupants caused by LPG leakage and explosion are more serious than those caused when doors and windows are open.
