The application of BIM technology in China has developed rapidly in recent years,and its application field is more and more extensive.BIM has become the development trend of construction industry and transportation industry in the future.At present,the design and construction of pile foundation in China is still in the mode of two-dimensional CAD technology,which needs to transit to BIM technology mode.Pile foundations are mainly designed by site geological data according to the code or the results of field pile testing.Among them,the empirical formula method in the norm is the most widely used.Based on the research and development of pile foundation design project of Railway Corporation,this paper compiles six Revit embedded pile foundation plug-ins,incorporates the method of pile foundation design specification into the plug-ins,and improves the calculation function of pile foundation design in BIM software.ABAQUS finite element method is used to simulate the ultimate bearing capacity of tubular pile,half-screwed pile and bamboo pile and then the results are compared and analyzed.The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)Create parametric pile groups of CFG piles,tubular pile,half-screwed pile and bamboo pile,and improve the pile group Library of Revit software(2)Visual Studio 2018 is used to compile Revit embedded plug-ins for creating pile foundations and designing CFG piles,tubular pile,half-screwed pile and bamboo pile.The empirical formulas of single pile bearing capacity and composite foundation bearing capacity in the code are incorporated into the plug-in.The plug-in can quickly establish the pile foundation model and calculate the bearing capacity of the pile foundation,and can view the information of the pile foundation on the pile foundation model,so as to facilitate the follow-up statistics and use,and effectively improve the design efficiency.(3)The parametric design of single pile in pile group is realized to cope with more complex site geological conditions.The flexibility and convenience of the plug-in in pile foundation design are verified by an engineering example.(4)The Revit tubular pile model is introduced into ABAQUS finite element software to calculate the bearing capacity of single pile.The field test results are used to verify and optimize,and a reasonable finite element model of pipe pile is obtained.Comparing the simulation results with the plug-in results,the plug-in values are less than the simulation values,which indicates that the design of pipe piles using empirical formulas is conservative.(5)The bearing capacity of tubular pile,half-screw pile and bamboo pile with the same pile length and diameter is calculated and analyzed by simulation.It is concluded that the order of bearing capacity of three pile foundations is half-screwed pile > bamboo pile > tubular pile.
