In recent years,the possession of vehicles,ships and marine equipment has increased rapidly,and the energy consumption has also increased correspondingly.Under the circumstance of energy shortage,it is necessary to promote the use of monitoring real-time fuel consumption and the correlative technical services as a means of energy saving and consumption reduction.The existing fuel consumption monitoring equipment has the present situation of high cost,low precision,complex installation and bulky.Based on the existing technology of fuel consumption monitoring system,a new real-time fuel consumption monitoring system for diesel generator is designed in this paper.The Hall flow sensor is selected to measurement the generator's fuel consumption in this system,and the STM32 single-chip microcomputer is selected as the main control module to control the acquisition and procession of the fuel consumption.A temperature sensor is selected to sense a temperature in this system.Also,this system select the LabVIEW virtual instrument design software combined with Access software to develop the upper computer data management system.In improving the accuracy of measurement,a fuzi box is designed to resolve the impact on fuel consumption generated by the return oil,and an ambient temperature compensation is designed based on particle swarm optimization based neural network(PSO-BP).Combined with those design,this system has the advantage of reliable performance,small size,high precision,low price,convenient installation and operation.In order to design the system which described in this paper,firstly,the system is designed to realize the functions of data acquisition,data processing,data display,data storage,data transmission,data display in the human-computer interaction interface and operate the database to meet the need of the real-time fuel consumption monitoring.Secondly,in the aspect of improving the fuel consumption measurement accuracy,a fuzi box is designed in this study,and adopts the PSO-BP technology related to temperature compensation for inducing the error's influence.Next,in order to realize the simple operability of the design,the programming of the main software modules such as data acquisition module,data processing module,data display module and data transmission module are designed,and the functions of the upper computer display,data storage,query and deletion are completed.Finally,the feasibility of the system is verified by simulation experiments.The experimental results show that the system is stable and reliable,and the measurement error is less than 1.7% during the Lab environment,which has achieved the expected purpose.This system lays a good foundation for the further realization of the remote collection,real-time transmission of fuel consumption,and the intelligent system based on artificial intelligence and big data,which system realizes the large-scale data collection,statistics,analysis,decision-making of the generator fuel consumption of vehicles and ships.
