Located in the northeast of Mengdong Power Grid,Xing'an Power Grid is the hub for energy transmission in Hulunbeier and Xing'an.However,there is still no strong network between Xing'an Power Grid and Tongliao Power Grid,which has caused a large amount of high-quality energy transmission in the Mengdong area to be blocked.In order to speed up the construction of the UHV(Ultra High Voltage)power grid in the Mengdong area,the Zhalute ±800kV UHV DC converter station was built in the Mengdong area,and the new ±800kV Zhalute-Shandong UHV DC line was built,with a rated power of 10000 MW.This project introduces the basic situation of the power system in Mengdong and Xing'an areas.Combined with the planning and load forecasting of the relevant power grids in the area,the overall plan for the construction of the new 500 kV Xing'an to Zhalute exit line is determined.In order to ensure the rationality of the extension plan of Xing'an Station,the design of this project is completed with the actual situation of the site to complete the electrical wiring design of Xing'an Station.The power flow calculation and short-circuit current calculation are used to determine the technical parameters of the primary equipment.With the construction of the primary equipment,the construction plan of the secondary system of the substation was determined based on the actual situation.This paper confirms the main technical problems of the Xing'an station extension project and finally determines the extension plan.The extension of Xing'an Station will improve the delivery capacity of surplus power in Hulunbeier and Xing'an areas,strengthen the grid structure,strengthen the reliability of power supply in Xing'an area,and meet the needs of regional economic sustainable development.
