As the scale of China's cities continues to expand, urban traffic construction has entered a period of rapid development, and urban environmental noise has become increasingly serious for residential areas. How to improve and improve the acoustic environment of residential areas has become one of the important research topics for the sustainable development of residential areas, and it is also one of the most concerned areas of green building design.Chongqing is a typical mountainous city.Due to its unique geomorphological gradient characteristics, its residential quarters often face more complex noise sources and its acoustic environment is even worse. This paper takes the typical residential quarters in Chongqing as the research object, sorts out and summarizes the existing research results and research methods, and uses the field survey, questionnaire survey, statistical analysis and computer software simulation to carry out the acoustic environment of residential communities in Chongqing.Comprehensive and in-depth investigation and analysis, and proposed a noise reduction strategy suitable for residential communities in Chongqing, providing strong support for the planning, design and optimization of residential communities in Chongqing from the perspective of acoustic environment optimization. This paper analyzes the characteristics and noise sources of residential communities in Chongqing through literature research and field investigations, and screens out 14 typical residential communities for large-scale questionnaire survey, sums up the subjective sound evaluation of the surveyed communities, and explores the subjective environment of the acoustic environment. The influencing factors of the evaluation showed that the residential characteristics and the residential features along the street were significantly correlated with the subjective sound evaluation of the residential community. It is preferred to conduct a sound walk experiment in the Palm Springs International Garden Community.Through the field assessment of the nine independent sound spots of the sound walking route, the research on the acoustic preferences of the residential community and the interaction between the soundscape and the visual landscape are carried out.Based on the preliminary research and statistics, the main noise sources in the residential quarters of Chongqing City were surveyed on site to explore the characteristics of noise sources.Carry out continuous measurement of 24 h traffic noise on all grades of roads, and arrange multiple measurement points for short-term measurements along the two sides of the road and the vertical height of the street buildings and internal buildings to explore the traffic noise level and vertical direction propagation law.At the same time, the sound source characteristics of rail transit noise, construction noise and square dance noise and its actual impact on noise sensitive buildings were measured.Based on the investigation and actual research, the acoustic model of a typical residential area was established, and the Cadna/A software model was verified by the measured results.Combined with computer software simulation analysis, the sound field distribution characteristics and noise reduction strategies of residential communities are studied, and the effectiveness and application examples of noise reduction strategies such as road back distance, sound barrier design, community greening and soundscape design are discussed. This paper proposes an optimal design method for the acoustic environment of residential quarters in Chongqing, and combines the subjective evaluation results of acoustic environment to propose a sound environment design strategy for comfortable residential areas that meets people's psychological needs.
