Housing and its environmental problems are one of the basic issues of urban planning.Under the people-oriented concept,the construction of a suitable human settlement material environment has received more and more attention.Considering the background of that China has began to enter an aging society as early as 2001,and it is expected to become a super-aged country has over 300 million people over 60 years old in 2025,research on the suitability of housing for the relatively large and rapidly growing elderly people is increasingly urgent and important.Among them,the evaluation of the suitability of the elderly people is an important basis for related research.This paper takes the emptynester and the group of community-home based care as the research object.From the perspective of the living needs of the elderly residents,draws on the related research framework of the index system of “livable city”,urban comfort and living environment evaluation,by analysis of the space-time behavior in the urban material space of the elderly residents,for the elderly people have different self-help ability,this paper constructed an evaluation index system of residential suitability evaluation contains more than 20 evaluation indicators from the three aspects of the internal environment of the residential community,the availability of service facilities(life,home care,medical care,sports and leisure,etc.)and the surrounding ecological environment.The Jianye District of Nanjing City,which has entered the deep aging society,is selected as the research area.Based on multi-source spatiotemporal data such as POI,house price,OSM,community spatial distribution,green space spatial distribution,water body spatial distribution,building base data,3D buildings,remote sensing data and the API of Baidu Map,this paper used a comprehensive index model to measure the residential suitability of residential communities from the perspective of aging.The clustering analysis method is used for the measurement results to evaluate the resource allocation of residential communities with different residential suitability levels.By using the residential communityIV evaluation results and the elderly people distribution data,through the factor overlay analysis method,this paper analyzed the matching situation of demand level and residential suitability.The research results can provide a reference and guidance for the elderly's choice of residence,and provide an important information for the government department to reform the environment of the existing residential communities,make them more suitable for aging people.The main conclusions of this paper include:(1)In the evaluation of adjacent scales,the spatial distribution of residential suitability grades in residential communities is significantly different.Residential communities with good livability are concentrated in three places.The first is the vicinity of the Olympic Sports Center,especially in the eastern and northern part of the Olympic Sports Center.Many residential communities' evaluation level is excellent;The second is the surrounding areas of Mochou Lake and the northwest of Nanhu Lake.;The third is the Wanda Plaza area.However,a considerable part of the residential communities in the southern part of Nanhu Street has poor suitability,and most of the residential communities in Jiangxinzhou and Shuangzha streets have poor suitability.(2)In the local scale evaluation,the evaluation of residential suitability based on pedestrian transportation,the higher-ranking cells show a significant shift in the spatial distribution to the city center.;Under the public transportation mode,the residential areas with good residential suitability evaluation grades tend to show a trend along the densely populated public transportation lines,especially in the downtown area near Mochou Lake.In addition,the presence of the subway has greatly changed the resource availability of different communities.In the self-driving mode,the evaluation results are different from the public transportation mode and pedestrian transportation mode.The number of poorly livable communities has dropped significantly,mainly in Huxi Street,Nanhu and Jiangdong areas.(3)Under the three modes of transportation,the service facility accessibility of the public transportation mode has the largest difference,which reflects to some extent that the public transportation facilities in Jianye District need to be optimized;Within the tolerance thresholds of the three modes of transportation,the facilities with the largest weighted average time standard deviation are facilities for the elderly and leisure facilities.reflecting the facilities for the elderly and leisure facilities should be the key construction point in the residential community suitable reconstruction for the elderly projects in the future.(4)According to the results of cluster analysis,the poorly-suitable communities in the resource mix are different,but in general they can be divided into two categories.One type is the combination of poor residential property-poor environment-the medium or high of other service facilities resources,one is the property of residential community is good-the ecological environment is good-the other service facility resources are low or medium combination.The optimization of service facilities in the southern part of the Olympics Sports Center and the Jiangxinzhou area and the improvement of the residential community suitable reconstruction for the elderly near the downtown area will help to improve the livability of the elderly.(5)The existing areas with high population distribution of the elderly have better matching with the residential space with better evaluation of residential suitability under pedestrian transportation and public transportation modes,but have a bad matching with the the self-driving mode.
