The tourism industry develops rapidly in recent years and Chinese quality of life improves greatly.The demand for tourism has greatly increased with various forms of tourism constantly appearing.Recreational Vehicles(RV)that integrate freedom,flexibility,and comfort are increasingly attracting attention and favor from Chinese.However,RV industry in China is still in its infancy presently.The autonomous design and independent research of RV are still at a lower level,and the research content of RV is deficient.The main research contents include the two parts,which are the RV style design and the external flow field characteristics analysis.The RV style design is studied based on the Kansei Engineering method,and the rationality of the style design is verified by analyzing the characteristics of RV exterior flow field.Based on the kansei image of RV,this paper analyzes the relationship between RV style design and subjective image evaluation.The RV image vocabulary and sample are collected and screened,and the questionnaires are made by the semantic difference.The questionnaire data is simplified into nine principal components by Factor Analysis.Nine largest impact factors are determined according to the factor loading.Then the RV style image vocabulary is divided into tree-like distribution by Cluster Analysis.Six groups are obtained and the core image vocabulary for each group is determined.Based on the results of Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis,the RV style image evaluation vocabulary is obtained,which is the premise of subjective RV style design According to relevant national standards and ergonomics,the RV general layout is designed including the internal structure layout.According to the style image vocabulary and relevant parameters,the concept sketch is designed and the rendering is drawn,then a geometric model of RV is created by CATIA.This paper studies the aerodynamic six-force of RV and deduces the corresponding force and moment coefficients.The external flow field characteristics of RV is analyzed including the influence of the aerodynamic characteristics on the RV dynamic property,fuel economy and handling stability.Then numerical simulation research method of RV external flow field is analyzed from the aspects of discrete method,discrete format,mesh partition,solution method analysis and turbulence model determination,which is used as the parameter setting basis of external flow field simulation by FLUENT.After the completion of geometric model simplification,calculation domain and other pre-processing work,the solution calculation is started to obtain the aerodynamic drag coefficient and lift coefficient value.The RV speed vector distribution and pressure distribution is acquired to analyze RV external flow field characteristics by the post-processing.A solution for setting the air inlet and increasing the curvature of windshield is proposed for the high pressure area.In this paper,the research method of Kansei Engineering is applied to RV style design.The relationship between kansei image evaluation vocabulary and RV style design is established by data statistic analysis,which has greater practical significance in the research of RV style design.
