Li Brocade In Contemporary Dining Space Design Application

The intangible cultural heritage of the Li nationality in Hainan is an important part of the traditional Chinese culture.With the development of modern cities,traditional arts and design lost their voice in life.In the early days,due to the indifference to the cultural heritage of the Li nationality in Hainan,there was a lack of visual recognition of its cultural language.When time passed by and people started to realize the importance of the development of regional culture,the artistic characteristics and cultural value of the Li Jin brocade patterns in Hainan gained more public attention.For the application of Li Jin brocade patterns in modern design,most of them are mainly based on the exploration of paintings and fashion design,and are carried out by a single pattern copying method,which cannot inherit the fundamental cultural value.At the same time,from the perspective of visual identity,it cannot meet the aesthetic needs of the modern crowd,nor can it be integrated into the needs of the modern population.This paper focuses on the Li Jin brocade pattern art,which refines the cultural characteristics and essence of Li Jin brocade culture,and how the traditional art can integrate within the design of the modern fine dining area,not only to find a way to solve its visual identity problem and difficulty in cultural inheritance,but also to protect and promote the Hainan Li Jin brocade pattern art.The paper begins with combining and summarizing the research background,and then elaborates on unique concepts such as the shape,color and cultural value of the pattern.These would provide support and reference for the design and application of the Li Jin brocade pattern,and on the other hand,it also provides corresponding support for the design application of the Li brocade pattern in the dining space.Meanwhile after art and culture background of the Li Jin brocade pattern was laid out,the paper investigates and analyzes the current state of art development of Li brocade patterns.The investigation is divided into three parts: The first part is the feasibility analysis of the Li Jin pattern art identity,the aesthetic needs,the application of the pattern and the feasibility of the design,which demonstrates the significance and value of promoting the Li culture.The second part is the investigation and analysis of the status quo of the art development of the pattern.Through the application analysis of the basic application of the pattern of the Li Jin brocade in the field of graphic design,environmental design and fashion design,the expression of meaning and the analysis of the genre and the meaning of the legend summarized the current situation and existing problems of the Li nationality brocade patterns,which laid out the foundation for the following targeted optimization strategies.The third part is to further emphasize the significance of the cultural heritage value according to the analysis of the first two points,and lay the foundation for the following optimization strategies and innovative applications.Based on the above research and analysis of the application of Li Jin brocade patterns in design,and the application status and analysis on existing problems of Li Jin pattern in design,the optimization strategy of Li Jin pattern in interior design was proposed.Within the interior design,Li nationality art culture can be shown through the application of Li Jin brocade pattern,the folklore legend of Li nationality,and the reproduction of the Li life scene.For Li Jin brocade pattern,it is divided into "balanced individual pattern","corner suitable pattern","band continuous pattern","misplaced slant pattern","geometric splicing pattern" application method.Through the refinement of the Li Jin pattern,the "human figure" and "fish shape" are used to redesign the pattern within the interior design.Most of the brocade patterns are broken up and reconstructed to extract the essence of the brocade pattern and express it with new visual effects.And in the interior design,the abstract processing of the Li Jin pattern,refining the most essential geometric form are seen throughout.It provides an optimization strategy for Li Jin brocade patterns in the design of contemporary dining spaces.Finally,the Li Jin brocade pattern in the interior design optimization strategy mentioned above can also be used in weaving,metal welding and carpentry as an integrated application with pattern,as well as hollowing,rubbing,and sculpting approach and pattern's creative designs,therefore to apply the Li Jin pattern in the contemporary dining space.
