Research On Landscape Design Of Urban Commercial Open Spaces Based On Consumer Demand

Abstract/Summary:
With the acceleration of urbanization,the growth of urban economy and the improvement of people’s living standards,urban commercial open spaces has gradually become a hot spot in urban construction.However,the existing commercial space just focuses on the internal environment but ignores the open space landscape of which the environment is generally so poor that cannot satisfy the growing needs of the customers.This paper takes the urban commercial open space as the research object by using literature review method,questionnaire survey,case analysis and inductive and summary method.The results are as followed:First,through the analysis and classification of domestic and foreign commercial landscape literature,the definition of urban commercial open space has been clearly defined,that is,serves consumers,it belongs to the green land attached to the commercial service facility land,can carry on various kinds of public activities,and has social service and commercial value.Second,through the analysis of the results of consumer questionnaire survey,the consumer’s demand for urban commercial open landscape is summarized,namely,the demand for comfort,the demand for interactive communication and the demand for being close to nature.Third,through the Comparative analysis of urban commercial open landscape and urban garden,its landscape features are summarized,that is,the landscape has the characteristics of guiding,comprehensive,multi-level and three dimensional,rich night scenes and strong commercial atmosphere.Based on the analysis of its landscape characteristics and classification,this thesis discusses the landscape of urban commercial open spaces from square spaces,courtyard spaces,commercial pedestrian street space,secondary ground spaces and retreat spaces.Forth,based on the analysis and reference of relevant cases at home and abroad and the landscape design practice of Hefei Innovation City,according to the above analysis results,the landscape design strategy of urban commercial open space based on consumer demand is put forward,that is,the space is enclosed by various landscape elements such as lights,plants,water bodies and so on in order to enhance consumers’ visual,olfactory,tactile and other sensory experiences and satisfy their demands for the comfort of the landscape environment;increase the number of urban commercial open spaces,increase the types of activities in the space and improve the participation and interest of the activities so as to meet the needs of consumers for interactive communication;make use of the multi-level and three dimensional features of commercial open space to create a rich plant landscape and create a unique roof garden and vertical greening landscape to satisfy the needs of consumers to become closer to nature.This paper has important practical significance to the practice of urban commercial open space landscape design and provides a beneficial reference for other commercial landscape designs.
