With the development of social economy,service industry has already substituted for the manufacturing industry and becomes the primary industry to promote economic development,which makes the research related to Service Design become the forefront of the design field.But so far,the application of Service Design in the field of public facility design is rare.According to the theory of service design,this paper tries to make the design of public facilities connected to the service system more closely,and takes Shenzhen Children's Palace as an example for design practice.After summarizing the research status of public facility and the status quo of the industry,this paper analyzes some cases of innovative design of public facilities and summarizes the relationship between users and product contacts in these products from the perspective of Service Design.This paper introduces the Service Design theory into the research of service system and public facilities design of the Children's Palace,and restore the service model of it.After that,this paper analyzes the current situation through in-depth investigation of the Shenzhen Children's Palace,presents existing problems by using the Service Design tools,and puts forth improvement direction of the service system and public facilities design.Base on previous research,this paper optimizes the service of Shenzhen Children's Palace,constructs the optimized service blueprint and carries out the design of related product contacts.Above all,this topic focuses on the service scene within the Children's Palace,and conducts research centering on the overall optimization in the processes of its service provision and public facilities products.I hope this paper could provide new research cases and design inspiration for service and public facilities design within public service buildings.
